Someone smart is going to have to answer but it is the lack of rain that defines a desert rather than the temperature. I imagine this is determined by closeness to water, currents, and a million other things. Temperature I am sure is a factor, but far from the only one.
Now hopefully someone smart who actually knows what they are talking about answers. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Stable volume will be very nice if it works. Always jarring and annoying when you get that youtuber that plays an intro with blaring music and bass and then follows it up practically whispering his content.

By air dry do you mean hanging clothes outside? Where I am I wouldn't be able to do it half the year due to weather. I did air dry inside for a while, but that lead to a lot of excess moisture.
Seems like the decent thing to do though.
My theater still gives a better experience than what I get at home due to the bigger screen and sound system. That said the loud obnoxious ads they blast at you before the movie starts make going with friends rather pointless and the previews go on forever. It actually makes me angry every time since it costs me $20-30 to go to movie with concessions. So I am going to say no.
There is a drive in theater that is about an hour away I occasionally go to, but other than that I haven't bothered in ages.

I don't know, this is something that might be cool. But I'm not spending any significant amount of money on a Google project the way they cancel them on a whim. Good luck to them though.
