Is it not open source? I can't find the source code anywhere.

Completely based.

And same, just gotta be patient for the few bug fixes that are needed to make it all work smoother. I'll even try to create the communities I'm missing from Reddit over here. Hopefully someone more competent than me will come along to mod.

Check out Amaranthe - Digital World!

Edit: I was looking for new music the other day and came across this gem. Now I'm addicted to the whole album (but I'm not sure if it's all like what you're looking for, it's mostly heavy metal I think? I'm not good with genre names)

But feel free to create communities here, almost any kind (as long as they follow the rules - our rules are very simple, it shouldn’t be anything that offends others) :)

Is it okay if I'm not into cyberpunk that much? I just love the theme you set up and the general vibe of the instance. I'm mostly a lurker anyway so I would use the instance to view local posts and subscriptions elsewhere. Maybe I'll end up getting into cyberpunk like most people here :) I did enjoy VA-11 Hall-A

Just create an account on an instamce that federates both lemmy.world and beehaw, like the one I'm currently on.

Enabling downvotes is specific to the instance's own communities, no?

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 years ago

Yes. Not into the posts but if they're not popular they just won't get upvoted

There's a bug on desktop where the post refreshes just as you're commenting (I think!). And I'm guessing that's the reason for random comments about other things on some posts.

As of now, I'm counting 3 critical Lemmy bugs. Hopefully they get fixed soon.

Exactly! You don't need an account on the specific instance, it all federates! You can subscribe to communities on any instance that isn't blocked :D

But that'll just scare everyone away! :S

But that's the UI I liked from old Reddit!

Now I'm browsing Lemmy before getting out of bed :(
