I somehow missed it years ago but recently binged it. Amazing series.

15 years ago maybe, to claim it now shows you've been in a news bubble. Get some new perspective.
Great find, saving these.
I just listened to the Commentary track (main cast) on the Blu-ray the other day and it was excellent. Worth a rewatch for any fans.
Along with Sneakers (1992), it's still regarded as one of the most accurate hacking movies ever despite the over the top visuals (which were all practical, no CGI). Most of those social engineering tricks still work.
I've found it pretty easy to avoid with a bit of curation but I understand they're a "necessary" evil that comes with every major user migration.
Yet, annoyingly, much of the press still uses it to disseminate news.
I understand journalism is in a rough spot these days and many are there against their will but something needs to change abruptly. This slow exodus is too slow for democracy to survive '24.
World's Best doesn't either, they use a thicker, different material that cuts way down on dust. It doesn't quite clump as well as others but it's close enough for me.
My eyes are fine and I still made that same mistake. Looked like a really odd double toilet.
Actually, it doesn't. Instead of looking at the nuance of the progressive side, you only need to look at the complete lack of vision, policies and outright lies that the right is now full of. Not just voting against their constituents wishes but against their OWN policies. Defense bills that might make a democrat look good, can't have that. Healthcare plans that they champion until Obama's name is on it. And those are just the low hanging, obvious fruit.
"Both sides" have their issues but it's crystal fucking clear which one has gone off the rails and is against almost everything this country was founded on. If you can't see it, you're bubbled. Plain and simple.
