Kinda yeah. Every bill is a negotiation. One side isnt going to straight up agree to a bill presented by the other side without pushing them for a little bit more. And one thing leads to another and the bill is too bloated to make sense anymore

Exactly. Thats one reason companies outsource and use contractors. If their demand slips, they can cut these service contracts faster and easier than if they had to lay off their own, while still retaining the internal skillsets
My in laws are extremely religious and comservative and biggoted. This year at easter, my wife volunteered to pray. She had a bunch of verses like the one in this post and just ripped them through bible teachings that theyre dicks. It was awesome

Remember this isnt the days of land lines where you had to be home, and available to answer the phone, and most people kept note pads right next to the phone so they could write down that information
