I work in a space that i cant have my phone. After a full day work, i come out and have 50+ notifications. Notifications mean nothing to me anymore

Today i learned about nicotine. The only time id smoke while sober was the last 2 weeks of the quarter when i was cramming for finals/doing labs etc. After my last deadline, i wouldnt do it for 10 more weeks, but would hit it hard during finals again. Always kept me focused and motivated

Shit when im the first one in, i leave the lights off. Then i get mad at the person who eventually turns them on. If i have to be in that early, i dont also want to be miserable from the bright lights
Childcare is outrageous. Daycare for my two kids was more than my mortgage every month. Ive been counting down until they were eligible for public schools

Our education system is shit, which is part of the problem. So many people don't understand the concepts of compounding interest and what debt will actually do to them in the long run.
My wife took on so much debt because no one ever explained to her what she was doing. She applied for a loan and got it, went to school. Shes an attorney now, but has amassed so much debt we will never be able to pay it off. We're on the income based plan, her loan payment is more than our mortgage, and we aren't even covering interest. Loan forgiveness is our only hope
