Tampons weigh nothing

When you're dealing with the tyranny of rocketry, every gram matters.

That said, I agree with your point. The mass and volume was well within acceptable mission parameters.

Knowing I'm using a VPN is not the same as knowing where I'm using it from.

The browser thing is bloody irritating, though.

I was just looking into this, too. Got on the topic of old "Sierra" point and click games, and the as brought up being similar in many ways.

Sir. I will not hear a word against LaForge.

Are there any Russian workplace comedy?

I think I'm dramatically overestimating normal people's understanding of computers.

I know a VPN isn't a cloaking device. I just want my ISP to not know what I'm looking up, and my website top not know where I am located.

Would you care to expand upon this point? I know that a VPN is not going to protect me from everything, but "almost nothing" seems harsh.

I would like to know more.

In this example, the child is living, and has needs.

Wish I could vote for him.

Well, that's not gonna win him any votes.

As a pure act, I can't see that it causes any harm.

However, it will very likely lead to frustration, anger, and poor treatment of the person in question. Those things are bad.

Very nice.

How about those Epstein files?

Naked Prisoners (startrek.website)

Is there an easier way to get clothing for a prisoner than drafting a pawn and having them strip in the cell before walking naked back to the cloths storage?

Has anyone here participated in the Fairborn Community Gardens in the past? I'm trying to get an idea of what the "normal" approach is, and what the general expectations are.

Autoplay Videos (startrek.website)

New to this whole Lemmy platform, but I'm liking it.

One problem I'm having is auto-play videos when I open some discussions. Not in the comments, but the post itself starts playing.

I'll skip my usual rant about what I think should be done to whoever decided to make that a feature, and just ask how to turn it off. I have "auto expand media" unchecked in my lemmy settings.

I appreciate any advice.
