From personal experience the "you're overthinking it, its just class warfare nothing else and that is bad enough " was to me the more effective way of pulling well meaning generally liberal/left leaning people back from the edge of the lunatic to fascism pipeline. I once made the mistake of doing "yes and (the Jesuits and the Medici)" in an ill advised attempt at humor. That person is not in my life anymore. It was far too comfortable being a hateful lunatic around me.

Tja aus eigener Erfahrung vermute ich mal dass sich das jetzt mit den Schwellen ändern wird. So bin ich mal über eine solche relativ flache Schwelle gestürzt: hab sie gesehen, hab beim bunny hop das Vorderrad aber nicht hoch genug gezogen (hatte mich verschäzt, weil sah vom Schattenwurf flacher aus als sie dann war) und bin mit ca 85 statt 90 grad auf das Plastik gekommen und dabei weggerutscht. Das ist beschissene und hochgefährliche Infrastruktur die solche Fehler nicht verzeiht.
Das wird die ungeübten Radfahrer noch wesentlich schlimmer treffen als die Leute wie mich die extremsituationen eher geübt sind und sollte eigentlich als vorsätzliche Körperverletzung gewertet werden.
Der Artikel spricht aber ein Phänomen an, dass ich viel interessanter finde, aber das den Leuten weder auf der Fahrschule noch sonstwo beigebracht wird: wenn Du über eine längere Strecke mit dem Auto maximal 30 fährst und da rechts vor links ist, dann ist Deine Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit nicht 30. Das scheint für das Ego von autofahrons genauso schwer zu verarbeiten zu sein wie die Tatsache, dass ein aufrecht sitzender nicht winziger Mensch auf einem Fahrrad Kreuzungen wesentlich schneller und früher überblicken kann (und damit auch eine wesentlich größere Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit erlaubt) als das 1,63 m kleine Professor*in Doktor Gernegroß im Landrover Discovery, das erstmal auf 10 km/h runter muss, bevor es die Kreuzung geistig und optisch erfassen kann.
Deshalb glotzen die Leute immer so dämlich wenn ich ohne mich festzuhalten die halbe minute an der Ampel vor mich hin balanciere.
Wieso denken alle, dass man auf dem Rad Geschwindigkeit braucht um das Gleichgewicht zu halten?!

Well for background I've been sober for around 20 years. Back then I took a look at my life and simply did not like what I saw. Maybe I started to love myself back then....
In hindsight I started drinking at an age where I started to address childhood trauma and it was a mechanism to numb the pain. But I kept drinking because it actually helped tamp down on the symptoms of my very strange food allergy.
What I did not know back then there are different parts of your body that can be the reason for allergic reactions - and there are 'lesser' allergies that are believed to be cured by not eating the food for a year. And these lesser allergies are sometimes/often not tested by doctors (talking about IgE/gg).
After finally finding out, the thirst went away. Completely. I'm not saying your thirst is like mine, but if you are still searching maybe this is a direction you haven't thought of.
You are wonderful for choosing to journey through life sober and with eyes wide open. I admire you.
Wouldn't the shareholders, who profit far more off any company than any CEO be a better target? Of taxation and eventual deposition (taxing them out of existence), of course, I do not care about violence.

Finding out about real energy consumption, in order to plan better for times when wind/ solar stagnates and not need these massive spikes in gas consumption for energy is another. Interesting article, but could have been more concise.

So.... more deceit? I've had uhmmm enough contact with all sexes in my time, and found "a relationship is a means to an end" type behavior in too many of my fellow humans. Also when they will not stop sliding into shittier and shittier behavior it usually means they were shitty from the start, but their mask is slipping.
Still amazes me, the many, many people seeing felationships as purely transactional.
