They're being helpful and assuming you may genuinely not know the word, and are giving you the correct version for the context.
Getting defensive isn't necessary.

I wouldn't categorize myself as agorophobic, as I DO enjoy my time spent outside as long as I'm not in crowds or socializing with more than a handful of people, but it definitely got worse after covid.
Home is where what little stuff I do have is, and there's nobody there that I dislike or dislikes me. Outside is increasingly hostile for humans with climate change, and the likelihood that I might get shot over my political stances because a neighbor thinks I might have different political views has never been higher.
So yeah, I don't go out as much either and covid was definitely the tipping point of "I don't go out much anymore"
I mean.... A hammer works pretty well, too.
Make it an art piece.
Broken Dreams, 2025
This is something I would expect a chemistry type content creator like codyslab, nilered/blue, or E&I to do just to demonstrate how feasible it is.
With a cost breakdown and showing what chemical waste remains after the fact, it would be super obvious it's not worth it unless you have some sentimental attachment to it, like it was your great grandparents pan or something.
That banner SLAMMED Jeff bezoz!
I'm sure he didn't just chuckle to himself and sleep even more soundly at night.
Moth needs to stop runningaway when I try to let it outside, I just want to help but I can't help if I can't catch it.
the “optimal” economic path during climate change
The optimal solution is to spend as much as you can into preventing climate change, because a dead planet has no economy. No customers = no income, no profit, no business.
But that requires looking past the next quarter.
Also I'm convinced economics "professionals" have all figured out that the whole system is bullshit that gets made up on a day to day basis by people who inherited their wealth, and just want to gift along with it. "I know it's bullshit but they're giving me money, so..."
The only things that assume infinite growth are viruses and parasites.
And the best part is, you don't have to try choosing the right one!
Just slap it all on, and each republican will happily pick the one they like best and cling to it, while dismissing everything else as immaterial to whatever discussion they are in.

Quark, you've been warned a hundred times about discussing human hunting techniques with menagerie owners.
Don't make me get Odo.
.... "FeEmAlEs"... you ferengi sure know how to raise 'em....
crazy journalistic cowardice
That's all we've been seeing since the first time Ajent Ornj was in office.
And now that they know he has no problem arresting journalists who he doesn't like, it's even worse.
All the people in charge who could do something about it are showing they are excellent at two things: placating the masses, and kissing a dictators ass.
Too many normal people are just barely making it by and don't want to lose what little they have by taking a stand, especially when they might be standing alone.
Well as long as no one tries to convince me there are more than four lights...
I'm cool with people snitching on someone pouring greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.
