I have been looking for high-quality video of Junkyard Wars for years. I found one torrent once of like 320x240 rips of a singe season. It's miserable.

Open the article.

Look at the picture of the criminal they are talking about, dressed in military gear, firing a canister of pepper spray, from a gun, at people.

Then see if you can continue to suggest that "attack" is the wrong word, using what you've learned.

Don't forget the raping, which a court found he definitely did. I don't know why that isn't mentioned in every article. "Proven rapist, Donald Trump..."

I used to build those Mac clones back in the mid to late 90s. We were building high-end video editing systems, and you could either get a PowerMac 9600 or one of the clones. I think we used Daystar (?) machines, and I remember they had this PCI expansion box where you could run a ribbon cable and add more PCI slots for additional cards. Wild west, crazy stuff.

There have been a few notable school districts in my state that got duped by these people over the last 10 years or so, and the pattern is pretty much the same:

  • They get elected by not telling people what they actually beleive
  • They immediately start doing crazy stupid shit
  • They illegally shut down public meetings and comments
  • They illegally hire an independent lawyer at taxpayer expense to defend themselves
  • There is a recall election, and they are removed from office.

It's a huge waste of time and money, and in the end everyone hates these fucks even more than they did to start with, and people are even more interested in voting in local elections. I'm not sure it's a winning long-term strategy for the fascists. You could argue it works to get more progressives and moderates to the voting booth in the long run.

I'm 100% sure that it stands for Three-Letter-Acronym. The joke is that it's an inscrutable business acronym to make fun of inscrutable business acronyms.

I actually used to do this during orientation sessions at my old job. I'd tell the new hires that if they were ever confused by terminology or acronyms, they should never be afraid to ask, because if people are using jargon or TLAs that they don't follow, they will miss the context.

Then I'd pause. If anyone asked what a TLA was, I'd give them a candy bar.

Less buying power = recession.

No, it doesn't = that. People aren't disagreeing with your viewpoints or opinions. You are 100% using the word "recession" incorrectly, which is what everyone is trying to tell you in this thread.

A recession is a significant, widespread, and prolonged downturn in economic activity. If people are driving up the prices of houses, it's not a recession. In a recession, house prices plummet because nobody is buying them.

What you are describing is income inequality, which is a real, but completely different thing.

My company has been on a hiring blast since July. I don't own stocks, but I'm way better off than I was last year at this time.

Or you could pay for Nebula instead of the company causing the problem. Or you could contribute to their Patreon.

I did it on my phone and work PC. I'm still running Brave on this little linux laptop by my TV. Not sure if I have to change that.
