Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think this should apply to everyone. It is good practice to give your new relationship some time before jumping in the marriage boat.

Yeah they are really showing the government ... I feel sorry for the innocent people that lost so much due to this "protest". People's cars burned down, family owned businesses had their shops looted and cannot make any money for the next couple of weeks, people relying on public infrastructure cannot use it.

You are aware that the shops and infrastructure they are destroying have no influence on social security nor policy, right? You are also aware that most shops are family owned businesses that already struggle to make ends meet, and face similar issues as the people rioting? There are ways to protest and revolt against a government, that don't include stealing or breaking public infrastructure. I don't get why people think stealing is warranted when you tag protest on it.

This is a lose lose type of situation. Less privacy for thee is also less privacy for politicians, they are also citizens themselves. Lets say that they include a backdoor in messaging apps, their private messages are then also vulnerable

Well, yeah, we know. But the governments around the world apparently don't really care. They want to have control. If only they would realize that this will also hurt them and make them more vulnerable than for the normal citizen. Backdoor in communication would also apply to them, meaning that their communication can also be hacked. Imagine the dirt people could find to blackmail politicians...

Ondertussen ben ik als onhandige al bijna twee jaar aan het renoveren. Als je het mij vraagt word je het snelste handig als je een opknappertje koopt en het zelf gaat/moet opknappen. Ik weet dat je nu eerst je tussenjaar wil doen, maar wacht zeker niet tot je 40ste om aan een huis te beginnen (ik hoop dat je dit gewoon als grapje bedoeld). Je kan echt enorm veel geld besparen door een groot gedeelte van je verbouwing op je te nemen. Het nadeel is vooral dat het langer duurt en het zwaar is. Voor mij is het vooral zwaar omdat ik het niet leuk vind om te doen, maar in jou geval is dat misschien anders. Ik heb ook vrienden die niets liever doen dan aan hun huis klussen.
