Meanwhile, our IT department is blocking every browser except for Chrome and Edge. It is infuriating, because out of the list, these two are my least favorite to use (putting it mildly).

I think, that the current situation might be the best possible one for Redbull. In F1 there is and will always be competition between teammates, this is natural and good for the sports. It is only logical that Checo had a go at the championship, therefore Redbull will be very happy to see that he failed this miserably. If anything, Checo can put his title aspirations to rest and be the second driver that Redbull wants him to be. Not saying that I don't want Checo to win the championship, but he is currently also realizing that he will not win it from Max. This realization could make him a better second driver, a role in which I think he would fit perfectly at Redbull for years to come.
For starters, BrikoX should just stop doing that, and only post in one community. People interested in it will see it (like you do now). If he/she is reputation farming, then this is also not beneficial to him/her. Because this way there is less interaction on the topic, as it is now fractured.
There are more technical ways to implement something like others have mentioned, but this will not be easy and is currently not a priority. I'd say, put it in the backlog and built something for it in due time. There are so many scenario's to manage when for example creating a bundled thread and showing cross posts. The first challenge being identifying the duplicates. Because it will not just be one user posting, nor are the users necessarily linked (e.g. This could be BrikoX@beehaw, BrikoX@lemmy, etc..).
I hope one day, that we have a viable protocol like email that will free everybody from vendor lock-in into messaging apps. Allowing us to chose our platform freely.

I get huge Deus Ex vibes. During the game, one concept stuck with me in relation to this. There was this woman, that was a doctor, but she wouldn't get hired to work in the hospital, because she didn't have the right chip in her head. She couldn't afford it, so she was unemployed. Such a sad prospect, if this is what leads to that.
