Older news, but am I crazy to think this will make my home province of Dobrogea a European Okinawa?

My controversial take is that if it took only a movie to make someone into a chud, they were always going to be a chud
Night of the Twitlongers
Yep,that's Romanian Hillary Clinton
Yep,I posted about it in some previous megas
Very little actual evidence, clearly politically motivated, basically they were hoping Lasconi would contest herself, but she thought she could win (lol) and they had to pull the lever at the last possible moment
What he did was campaign on tik tok, unlike the traditional political class and won big, with some astroturfing and paying off influencers to boost him on social media
Posts about him weren't labeled as political,so they weren't gated like usual and spread around
Dynamic is somewhat different in Romania, but the situation is kind of the same
Personally,I haven't gone to any protests, but I wouldn't fault anyone for not wanting actual fascists on the upswing
I'm less hopeless, because there is a real dissatisfaction with the way things are and maybe if the two reactionary tendencies duke it out, there will be some space for a leftist current in the future
There is still a memory of how things were and people are grabbing onto whatever tells them what they like to hear. The fact that it's all fascists who do that is due to historical circumstance, but at least it gives me slight hope people don't want to ascribe to the slavery the west imposes on us. The difficult part is actually channeling that sentiment somewhere productive.
Communism won here once,we can make sure it wins again and forever this time.
Funny moment after the cancellation of the first round of presidential elections in Romania
Elena Lasconi, who was supposed to run against Georgescu publicly humiliating herself on Twitter dot com, begging at Trumps feet
They were hoping Lasconi was gonna contest the results, but she was hopped off on the Kamala juice,so they brought out the mallet
Here she is begging at Trumps feet lmao
Similar situation, but I think in this case the secret services were on it way before they "heard" about it
I would like to show you a very interesting figure in the whole Calin Georgescu debacle, a certain Horatiu Potra
Former member of the French Foreign Legion, and chief of the Central African Republic's president's corp of bodyguards, now PMC founder, recently active in the DRC, fighting against the Kinshasa government was recently "arrested" because of his connections with Georgescu. He was "caught" heading to Bucharest with a convoy of cars carrying firearms, machetes and a drone, among other things supposedly in order to start violent protests or intimidate journalists and public figures to stop covering Georgescu in a bad light.
I put those quotes there because his "arrest" was probably only for show,he wasn't even handcuffed when they took him,and just today he was released from judicial review. The pro Georgescu faction, most likely SIE (external intelligence) warned him ahead of time and are gonna get him off the hook. SRI (internal intelligence) is the pro-West faction from what I heard from my friends who have some inside sources, but this could be inacurate,so take this with a grain of salt.
Very interesting figure, has ties to Wagner,I call him both the Romanian Prigozhin and the Romanian Mike Ehrmenntraut, and you'll see why when you look at a photo of him.
Well, the supporter base for this guy was made up of mostly disaffected people who either don't usually vote or only voted with what they were told to previously,so not that much enthusiasm for him
Also, his fash buddies were either arrested,or redirected by the man who was originally supposed to be the big bad right winger, who is actually controlled opposition to not go out and protest
Also, the secret services are quite influential here and this whole debacle was probably a powerplay by a pro Russian faction that got out of hand and now they're picking up the pieces
And another thing, the guy was a fascist crank,so I don't see much of the activist population going out to bat to defend him
Honestly no clue,I live in the northern part
It's closer to Constanta so RIP them I guess
