Hearing some of the soundbites from Hakeem Jefferies 8 hour speech and I don't think liberals realize just how fucking cooked everything is. Some of the lamest shit ever in the face of so many vulnerable people facing the maw of the beast. There's no question that all this is going to stick and get worse as time passes because all Democrats are going to do is just keep the tax cuts while inflating the military/police/ICE budget.

Pretty much in a similar situation for the past 3+years. Took forever to add a 4th person because we were seeing a much higher volume of work.
That person only lasted about 3 months before they quit. Never got replaced. With the experience we had gained we were able to handle the volume of work, but only because we were just that good at the job and we picked up extra shift.
One of the people from our 3 person crew left and we struggled to replace them because the base pay is shit. Finally replaced them after some turnover over a year. The new person isn't quite as reliable. Had the other person get promoted and their replacement has been similarly unreliable.
Now I'm doing my best balancing helping them with the work they do plus all the responsibilities I have as a lead all while the higher up occasionally mention adding another person, which we already had. I'm so fucking tired, but I know looking g for another job is going to be hell and somehow they're still ok with how things are even though we've had a drop in the quality of our work.
Might as well convert the hospital into the Liberal Party HQ so that he can have his meeting already.

You'd think that people would see that given how expensive it is to survive even in places that have raised the minimum wage. Like, yes its an important fight, but in the end its an extremely small part of a much larger class struggle. Its the same with free Healthcare. The couple I saw were pretty toned down, which eh, I'll take that much compared to the past.
Letting down a bit of my mask and made a joke criticizing the US to on of my friends and they took it well.
And I also hung out with a couple of friends and one is usually pretty rah, rah about the US and yet they didn't really say much to that effect today.
