I started reading a bit more and while its good to see that that was the decision they came to after the input, it still sucks that they ever entertained the demands of those wanting for there to be means tests for our most vulnerable comrades.

I don't really understand what the purpose of that thread is supposed to be. Didn't this whole song and dance happen early on when we started having donation threads for Palestinians? Like, of course there's always a chance there's going to be scammers, but it just seems so fucked up for a leftist platform to punish people who legitimately need the help.

Saw some of the posts early on and just SMFH. "Waaa, what if there's scammers?" Wow, so what? If there are people here so concerned with scammed, just don't give money. Simple as. This concern trolling is just so fucking hypocritical. Especially on a leftist platform where Dems/libs are constantly criticized for means testing.

Well he's on Nebula and they have a bunch of other NATO libs on there. And they didn't back First/Second Thought when hasbra came out asking for the to remove them for their support of Palestine after October 7th. So good chance he's indeed more in line with most of the Western "left".

It's too bad because he does put out a lot of great content, but it seems he has a long way to go towards showing solidarity with AES.

My depth perception sucks, but seems like its been getting worse and I keep putting off going to the eye doctor to get a new prescription. In the past few days I've:

-Crashed a bike into a barrier

-Flinched as someone opened the door for me even though I was nowhere near the door.

-Stepped into nothingness going down some stairs even though I was looking down

Almost forgot that the last match week of Serie A was on today and I'm watching Napoli-Cagliari. Just saw someone flying what looked like a big Confederate Flag in the crowd. Apparently this is something that Napoli fans do because they don't like how they're treated by Northern Italians... Umm, pretty sure they could have found a better way to symbolize that

Wasn't there already a law passed in Congress this past year that stated that antizionism would count as antisemitism? There's a reason why the term is already used so interchangeably by all these fucking ghouls in government and the mainstream media.
