For me it's easier to resist temptation in the store rather than when it's in the house. At that point you already bought it, it's right there so you're gonna eat/drink it at some point right? Might as well be now.. It'll take effort to break the habit, but think twice about before buying stuff. The sale might give you FOMO but remember that if it has a negative impact on your life then it has negative value, they should be paying you to get rid of that trash. And be proud of yourself successfully resisting temptations.

I have the same problem and switched to an electric foil shaver. It's not as close a shave so it does leave a bit of a stubble. That look might not work for everyone but it works for me

Don't go buying one of these based on it being solid state. There was controversy around the Yoshino brand who claimed to have a solid state power station that turned out to be a hybrid chemistry at best. Make your purchasing decisions based on real world test results.
