I'm gonna keep using fedora for now, largely becouse I don't want to go to the effort to set certain things up all over again, but I'm at least paying enough attention to what's going on that if they do something I see as to far I'll switch

You can view and even comment on lemmy/kbin posts from mastodon, like I'm doing right now

It's not as good a way to view forum based content though imho

I put xfce on a garbage laptop for my parents (who are used to much older windows) and they loved it, the laptop ended up breaking eventually but that was a hardware issue and they regularly ask me when I'll be able to replace it

It's like a constant game of whack a mole, with valve trying to make it work and EA trying to make the app reflect the rest of their company
