I have my garuda installation just where and how i want it to be. NixOS just always seemed very interesting, but i don't want to run it on my daily machine.

whisper is an STT application that stems from openAI afaik, but it's open source at this point.

it's super fast with a GPU available and i use those little M5 ATOM Echo microphones for this.

So the Quest 2 works to this day with those DNS blocks? You use SteamLink now i assume? Or you ever got ALVR working?
When looking up the Valve Index i don't see that many issues with SteamVR on Linux?
