The blue panels are poly-crystaline which are cheaper but less efficient.

Mono-crystaline cells are more efficient but more expensive and are black or nearly black.

So a prickle of picky porcupines only partook in parts of prehistoric primates? Preposterous!

For real, give me the ol' "Hey, bud?" first and then when it's clear I'm paying attention, then ask.

I could see it causing hypothermia or some other issue but for it to be frostbite doesn't there have to be...you know...frost?

People do eat bear meat. I'm sure some just skin it and leave it but it is plenty edible.

SCOBYs (Symbiotic Cultures of Bacteria and Yeast) could have some possible applications as fake leather but I don't know if anyone is working on it or if it could actually be made strong enough.

One example where we just do not have an equivalent is motorcycle gear. Yeah we have textile jackets, and I have one because where I am the risk of heat stroke in a leather jacket is more of a concern, but if you want abrasion resistance, leather is the best you can get. Can SCOBYs compete with that? I don't know.

Them discarding the flower doesn't mean they arent using the hemp part.

I would imagine they seperate those almost immediately if not the moment it's out of the ground. If they're using a combine to harvest it, then that probably seperates it.

Blue is just "informational"

Anything from upcoming ammenities to what radio station you should tune to for information during evacuations (hurricane evacuation routes have these regularly)

10 minute drive (where I live) is typically 6-10 miles. Average walking speed is 3mph so you're talking over 2hrs. I had to do it once on a tractor and it sucked, and that was doing 10-14mph.

If we're being approximate, Meters and Yards are approximately the same.

But if you want exact then 200yds = 182m

Anyway, I actually have both an Imperial and a Metric tape measure in my junk drawer. When someone asks for a tape measure I hand them the metric one just to fuck with them.
