Our social circles are too big to do it reliably.

I'd take a pettin' hand and a crushin' hand.

Layered as well. Little bits process very specific things and simplify it for the beast.

If it's like us, it's the IAM fund managed through John Hancock.

This is already part of the problem. You can't really treat aircraft workers the way they have. When a 40 year worker retires, a new hire isn't really a replacement. Looking solely at headcount is foolish.

There's a middle. I still use emoticons and completely reject emojis. All ASCII all the time.

You left out the protocol of the elders of zion and the backlash it caused against Jews. It's fairly important as a catalyst for some of the 20th century shit.

Find an empty parking lot before it snows. Verify there are no obstacles in it or find a large area with no obstacles. Wait until it snows. Hit that bitch up and learn about how your car handles and how to recover when you fuck up.

Make sure to bring a shovel and maybe some boards or whatever others suggest in case you get yourself stuck.

Ballot access and federal funding are tied to federal elections, so it's functionally something. Ballot access is actually useful to states.

It's not nearly enough. I'm not in their bargaining unit, but I've gone on strike with the IAM. It was 300 or 400/week.

It's weird, but kind of accurate a lot of times. If they negotiate for an earmark or project, they did technically bring the money in - even if it's something they would prefer not to have passed.

I've certainly been in similar situations at work where we all agree something is stupid, but make sure to get something out of it.
