Was going to say exactly this. Got an M1 air a couple years ago for 799 and it has been a great little laptop. M3 with 16 gigs of ram for 850 is a steal.

Honestly don’t feel too bad. I JUST tried switching full time to Debian bookworm with a 3070ti and I had the EXACT problems you describe. I tried built in drivers. Debian Nvidia drivers. Nvidia drivers straight from Nvidia, nothing would work. Was getting like 60 fps in overwatch and it would dip to 20 frames constantly. It was unplayable. I couldn’t even get my 4 monitors connected at one time no matter what I tried. Ended up going back to windows 11 with the decrappifier unattend file. Back to 170 frames easy. I am convinced the only way to dodge this is with an AMD card. My next computer will be AMD graphics for sure so I can finally switch for good. Sorry about the long rant but I was so frustrated with it! Don’t ever doubt yourself and swapping to the AMD card! Lol.

Have you read “stunning digital photography” by Tony and Chelsea Northrup? It might be a little bit geared towards the novice but I seem to remember quite a few advanced tips in there too. Might be worth a skim or a check out from the library?

I’m smooth too so take this with a grain of salt. This is long term bullish. They aren’t going to let the price go too low, they’re just slowly stacking cash for future plans. Shorts didn’t even begin to close on this run up. It was simply a gamma ramp and those long dated swaps that all stacked up around June. This allows GME to take advantage of the temporary price volatility. Not financial advice.

I discovered them from Lemmy as well! I bet we saw the same post!

Rio Grande Roasters vanilla hazelnut. I love these beans so much. The piñon is also really good! Very chocolatey and smooth.

I always recommend some sort of envelope system where you assign every dollar a job. Create categories for your expenses and then you can deduct from those by adding payee transactions. Actual budget has a self hosted option for free and YNAB has a subscription model I believe.

I often roll over from my back onto my side and it works fairly well! I would recommend a longer, wider hammock. 11 or 12 feet in length and just “wide” labeled hammocks from any cottage vendor. I would recommend a pillow as well. I have used both the thermarest memory foam pillow (bulkier and heavier) and a sea to summit Aeros ultralight with great success.

My apologies if this is a known issue or dumb question. Is there a reason that when subscribing to !superstonk@lemmit.online there are no posts showing up? I am subscribed to it as a user of lemmy.ml but nothing is there. When I browse to https://lemmit.online/c/superstonk there are many many posts.
