Shopping, gossip/bitching, candles and other nice smelly things like diffusers, sewing, makeup/nails/cosmetics, accessories (including crafting them) and quite a few more things I can't think of right now but its a shame how so much of it is seen as stereotypically regressive or people judge for it...

Oh building up a nice set of tools and accessories I can make for them over time would actually be a pretty fun idea!

Doesn't STV require a reworking of the whole system? I.e electing more than one MP per constituency? We had the 2011 AV referendum which failed miserably, i still remember the disgusting 'this premature baby needs an incubator, not a new voting system' adverts... I often wonder what things would be like had it succeeded.

I don't think I could vote for Labour again in good conscience. I voted for them as the lesser of two evils but it has been nothing but betrayal. My fear is that doing this will allow the tories or ~~fascists~~ reform into power which will be utterly horrendous against the mildly lighter level of shitness we have now.

I joined the lib dems before when they were the big party against brexit and this time i will be joining the greens. I dont have any hope that things will change before the next election where I'll be forced to think about the implications of my vote but I'll cross that bridge when i come to it.

"Recreational leisure assistant" at a leisure centre. Job was sold as being a lifeguard, needed to get a qualification first which was a fun week long course. Job was about 20% lifeguarding, 20% setting up the gym and 60% cleaning the whole bloody place. Only lasted a few weeks.

I'm working on a wristlet, probably my biggest and most complex (self drafted) leatherwork project I've embarked upon so far.

But all the "foreign entity", "government citizen", highlighted "CONTRACT" and the "lack of reply means acceptance" is certainly all textbook sovcit crap.

Poor sod probably grew up in Croydon, would be enough to send anyone insane

I'd say outside the US there is generally less of that macho psuedo military 'alpha male' vibe and it is generally less tribal with internal protection, but there will always inherently be something problematic with a job that places people above their peers in power and the people that apply for it. Whilst many may do it entirely for good reasons there will always be bad actors. I dont really see ACAB as entirely true, even in america, but i think the role itself as a job will always be a problem in society.
