And how will they compensate for the lost work, as GN pointed out? Didn't Billit Labs say they were unable to continue working on the product, since the prototype wasn't available?

He didn't with one sentence adress the ethics problems with the sponsors... This has the feel of a knee-jerk response and I hope there will be a full video with actual plans on adressing the issues by LMG and none of the worming around.
Usually the MEPs aren't really assigned to a region, but to a topic. For the national parliament, depending on voting system, you will still have local representatives. I would look up what your representatives are and then check what work groups they participate in and what most fits your issue. ( You can do that here)
What are these shows? :)
So, what did you end up with? :)
Can you please point me towards sources on which muslimic communities/branches/denominations of Islam forbid coffee? I was always under the impression that coffee came to western europe from the islamic world.

Sorry, I re-read the article and the original announcement by the EU travel authority. Neither makes mention of Schengen, which is what got me confused. The ETIAS site does explicitly list the Schengen countries along with the EU one. And not Ireland. They probably vetoed something and got excluded or something :D
Thos article is about the EU, not sure what Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein am Norway do in that list...
So, I see several things here, that I did during my first build that I now regret:
-
You have a relatively limited budget. You're spending an awful lot of that on your case. If you're not absolutely married to the idea of that case, I would suggest to go for something cheaper. (Check out Gamers Nexus' end of year round up for some suggestions)
-
You're buying a pretty top of the line motherboard. I would suggest looking at the features this delivers and what you really need from that. Why not a B-Series with WiFi ( if you need that)
-
Once you managed to free up those additional 100-150$, you can look at upgrading your GPU. Maybe even a 6800XT.
-
For the windows: there are third party resellers selling OEM versions of windows for like 10$. Look around the net a bit. There's ways to get reaaaally cheap (and legal) versions of windows.
-
If you really want to stick within the budget, I would suggest going last-gen, depending on how enthusiast you are. Max out the GPU, go cheap on everything else. The 5600x has been a beast of a cpu, the mobos and ram for it are cheap. My suggestion (with still outstanding overhauls to the case and windows version) looks like this.
If it was my PC though, I'd probably go current gen but still work on the case and windows version. AMD CPU may probably still be cheaper.
Die Alternativen sind schon da: Mastercard und Visa Debit-Karten. Sind jetzt keine guten Alternativen, aber ist das was die beiden Giganten halt pushen.
There's a lot of people here focussing on the biillit labs thing. While that is pretty bad on it's own, and probably indicative of company or at least communication culture; Linus has not adressed the allegations regarding the sponsorships and the underlying conflict of interest. There's some response to the error handling and sloppiness. But what is lacking is a clear identification and owning of errors as well as the accompanying, hard steps LMG will take to rectify them.
I would've liked to see a post saying" whow, this is a bit much at once, we will publish a full response with x/y plans in [a week]". This (Linus' Forum response) just feels drama-inciting and not like a level-headed response.
