because it isnt a "conflict" my whole life ive been pushing back on this and anyone who is willing to call it "israel" instead of the zionist entity legitimizes the existence of the entity itself. Its a settler colonial project, built on ethnic cleansing and genocide and wholly illegitimate.

i know im preaching to the choir on this site but the language we use is incredibly important. Its like why we call it IOF and not IDF, for the same reason we say the Temporary Zionist Entity instead of "Israel", the same reason we say the Zionist Genocide of the Palestinian people and not "Israel-Palestine Conflict."

Its about reframing the conversation with our narrative. It can seem insignificant, but its important to delegimize the entity's existence first and foremost in the language we use. The same way zionists refuse to acknowledge Palestinians as a real people or Palestine as the land they are occupying. Words have power

I am Palestinian and agree with you. I hate when people call it a conflict in any context, and its an instant red flag for me

About 10 hours ago Handala started streaming live CCTV footage from the ship so thousands have been literally keeping an eye on them.

you can follow along here, they are less than 2 hours from the location the madleen was abducted from https://www.youtube.com/live/A4hF5rA-v-Q

Edit: for those who dont know who Handala is, why the name is significant. he is representing a palestinian refugee, usually drawn with a key in his hand for return. but also with his back turned and tattered clothes symbolizing the palestinian struggle and how we've been forgotten by the world. Artist Naji Al Ali drew handala and it has become a symbll of resistance, my dad gave me a handala necklace when i was really young like 8 years old.

Oh, and mossad assassinated Naji Al-Ali because of the power of his pen

sorry i was mistaken about the explosives, but there were two sabatoge attacks on the ship that delayed departure

Per the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, contact has been lost with the Handala ship sailing to break the siege on Gaza. Notably the passengers include 6 Americans for the first time, including ALU leader Chris Smalls.

Reports of drones monitoring the ship for a few days leading up to this. At one point explosives were found on the ship while docked in italy which delayed its departure

EDIT: so i think i saw a mistaken report about the sabatoge attempt, it did not involve explosives. but there were 2 sabatoge attempts one was a rope tied around the propeller, and the second was a truck that was brining a tank of water to give to people in gaza contained sulfuric acid instead.

if Resolution Copper ever opens what remains of indigenous land in the area will be destroyed and we will see unprecedented impacts on the arizona ecosystem that has already been devastated from settlers destroying the river and indigenous canals that have been here for thousands of years
