I thought it was a bad comedy special but it's just wild the amount of hate I've seen for him and it. Like we already knew he had no idea what he was talking about on Covid, he admits as such (standard "don't listen to a comedian for that" take that he and Jon Stewart trot out all the time). You could see it as his surrender on the topic. People seem to be taking it more as a "he's still talking about it."

Fetterman’s advisers suggested to Harris’ team that the senator believes that Shapiro is excessively focused on his own personal ambitions. His reservations about Shapiro reflect a long-running rivalry between the two ambitious Democrats, who have risen on parallel tracks in a politically crucial state.
I don't know if Fetterman is right to have concerns about Shapiro for VP, but I do believe he feels that way, personally. Like this isn't Fetterman saying he's concerned Shapiro doesn't have enough foreign policy experience or whatever, it's Fetterman saying he thinks Shapiro is kind of a dick.
Ivory tower elite who became mayor of a nothing city in his 20s with less than 11k votes, sweet talked Party Bosses enough to get the nepotism cabinet slot formerly given to Mitch McConnell's wife and Bob Dole's wife.
I like him, I just don't think he'd be a good VP pick. Let him run for Michigan's US Senator (or Governor if Whitmer runs for president), now that he lives there. Winning statewide in a swing state is a resume builder.
Buttigieg is an excellent communicator but he doesn't have the bio, yet. Mayor followed by being appointed to a low level cabinet position is nothing compared to Governors and Senators who were elected state-wide.
I think Buttigieg, Whitmer, Pritzker are bottom tier and I'd be really surprised.
Beshear and Walz I think are the next tier, they don't bring a state along with them but they're solid politicians, safe choices.
Kelly and Shapiro are the top tier.
Kelly can help tip/solidify AZ and he has border cred and military experience, probably my top choice and I think you just have to deal with the Senate thing.
Shapiro has been extremely pro-Israel, that exacerbates a party issue and could turn off some voters on the Left, and that's a bigger concern to me than losing the Senate seat which is why he's not my top pick, but you also have to realize that PA is almost the whole ballgame this year. If Harris can win PA and the obvious states then she just needs one of Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina.
The contenders to be named before a joint rally in Philadelphia on Tuesday were widely reported to include four governors – Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, Andy Beshear of Kentucky, Tim Walz of Minnesota and JB Pritzker of Illinois – one senator, Mark Kelly of Arizona; and one member of Biden’s cabinet, Pete Buttigieg, the transportation secretary.
6 people. Nobody else really mentioned except Whitmer but she would be a long shot.
Apparently it's not the Last Supper but even if it was, what part mocks Christians? Like nothing in the stage direction is mocking, so it must literally just be that they don't like drag queens.
A drag queen performing a Queen song isn't mocking Queen. They just are a drag queen while performing Queen. I wouldn't be offended by that as a Queen fan.
A girl In had a crush on sent me the AlbinoBlackSheep "you are an idiot" site that caused a bunch of pop ups. Then she kept sending me links and funny videos and I got all indignant and annoyed because I thought all AlbinoBlackSheep links would be the "you are an idiot" thing.
Upon further review 20 years later she may have been flirting with me.
Anyway that's why I clicked the scam phishing link, boss.
This really just shows the flaw in surveys like this. There is someone running who is younger, and they aren't going to vote for her. They wish TRUMP was younger.
Really the problem is that everyone wonders how to pay for a stimulus to poor people, and worry about it causing inflation.
But stimulus to rich people "pays for itself."
There was a place near my college that delivered until 4am. Horrible pizza. Got it all the time.
Using "weird" about a comedian actually risks the whole gambit IMO. You start calling everyone weird, maybe it's just you who is the unusual person calling everyone who disagrees with you weird.
The whole point of the attack is that the weird people are not acceptable elected officials. Keep it to people who are trying to get elected.
