I think you are not aware how troubled teen industry is run at least in the US. Just so you are aware that they are places full of physical, sexual and mental abuse. It is like you sent your kids to a camp but instead of summer camp, it was a refugee or concentration camp.

There is no one Christian opinion now or any time history about abortion. But if you want to go with Augustine, Thomas Aquinas and Pope Innocent III early abortion before quickening was not a sin as per the two latter that is when the fetus is ensouled. That is around the middle of the second trimester. Popes Sixtus V and Stephen V both were against it at any point. Luther seems to be against it at any point.
Can someone wake me up in 20-40 years when we decide again that fascists are an issue?
My question is why are Americans electing them? While we have a similar age group structure, if anything our median age is larger, middle age of our parliament is little bit over 47 years.
Islam doesn't encourage any more for theocracy than other Abrahamic religions. The existence of religious fundamentalist Islamic theocracies is a lot more complex than Islam. A lot of it can be traced to colonialism, the decolonization process and Western interference in Islamic countries. This is largely why Iran is one of those. The last Shah was seen corrupt autocratic puppet of the West by many. As a counter to it, the country over-corrected and landed in fundamentalist Islamic theocracy. Radicalization of Islam leading to similar governments happened in other Islam-majority countries. Before the 60s and 70s, many Islamic countries didn't differ a lot from Western countries when it came to social liberties. There are a lot of images of Tehran and Kabul with women in mini skirts for example.
While I am not saying that modern Islamic countries are not problem or thousand when it comes to civil liberties and democracy, Islam in my knowledge was more tool and less reason behind it.
While I agree strongly with the latter statement I have a lot of reservations with the former. I am incredibly happy for her. But this decision as has been the case most of the time in the past decade with the exception of Ukrainian refugees is a decision on an individual level instead of an institutional one. There are a lot of people who are either asylum seekers, people with asylum or quota refugees with similar situations and danger levels. Making individual decisions leaves them behind and only aids one person. Basically, it is good PR with limited results increasing already existent inequality among refugees in Spain.
Please note that it is not only a US-specific issue. Right has especially in its extreme lengths always been somewhat oppressive and as the right has become more right (again) (also read as in more fascist) in recent years oppressive policies they support are getting more and more oppressive.
Maybe because it was a left versus right conflict leading to decades of Franco's more or less fascist dictatorship.
NordLocker was part of Nord Security external ISO27001 audit in 2022. Of course, being closed-source software you can't really know security fully. The biggest concern seems however to be the encryption model they use in addition to being closed source. However, for example, hosting my own cloud service while most secure really isn't the option that would answer the reason I use cloud service.
I am not saying use it. I am saying it often gets recommended. I really do think people should do their own research on if things are best fit for them. I am having a huge issue finding actually secure solutions that are not self-hosted and FOSS or at least open source. Nextcloud which is fully hosted by service or on your own bought server space has some concerns as well.
I thought so but didn't want to assume too much as I am not in the US. Usually these days global fascists are pretty connected and using the same playbook.
They have successfully managed to further this othering and dehumanizing of refugees to the point where an illegal immigrant is the term that is more commonly used instead of the correct term which is a refugee in colloquial discussion. In legal one, it gets a little bit more complicated but generally people don't even need to be aware of that.
It is both descriptive of groups who work against fascists and part of the name of some groups who currently and historically work against fascists. This doesn't make suing the CEO of Antifa any less insane.
It is easy to say when it is not you. Unless you are in that exact situation their complexities mean that you really shouldn't judge others for the approaches they take. Even if you would take the risk, judging others when they wouldn't is not really a good policy.
