Having done that unprompted at a cool old church (lotsa Yew trees), I can say that it is pretty entertaining.

Yeah, the original collapse discord is still pretty good for actual information and discussion, at least from my rare pop over to have a look. Generally better politics as well.
I missed the drama, but I think as the subreddit diverged from that, they made their own more lib-aligned discord.
