The photo you sent is a good example of a tightline. For tightlining, you are putting the eyeliner on your upper waterline.

In addition you can also use a eyeshadow brush and eyeshadow to coat the lashes with or without the liner to create that effect. You would use a black or similarly dark eyeshadow, coat the brush, lift your eyelid with one hand, and coat the base of the lash with the brush.

For a tightline, you want gel or waterproof liquid liner. Pencil might also work, but I am much less experienced with using pencil liner personally, and I prefer the darker contrast liquid and gel achieve.

What kind of eye makeup do you want to do? For the longest lasting eyeliner, you want to use cream liner with a brush. Setting powder will also be your friend to reduce the effects of sweat accumulation.

Kind of doom folk, singer songwriter show! Similar vibes Chelsea Wolfe if you are familiar with her tunes! It’s the UD Perversion waterproof liner! It’s pretty good. It does sting a bit when I put on my waterline, but it stays on well and causes no issue following that. And I think it would work for tightlining. Also a transmasc comrade of mine swears by too faced’s waterproof liquid. I love their mascara too.

Also, for gel, I really like the Mac Colour Excess, and this lasts throughout the day on my lower waterline.

I rarely do tightlining, I should experiment with that.

Likewise! And as you said, the work is never done. It is a continuous process of renewal. trans-heart

Wholeheartedly agree. Would love to see an effortpost if you feel the call. I do emdr, and that has really helped me with a positive sense of self in many ways. Still have a long way to go though. Might just be my neurodivergence, but passing never made any sense to me.

Yes, I experience dysphoria, not that this is a part of what makes me trans. This dysphoria is not due to any conception of comparing myself to cisfolk, really.

laser and a surgery mention and some bottom dysphoriaHitting the two week mark after laser where the hair is finally coming out! This is session number 2 for hair removal prepping for bottom surgery. Really strange having so little hair down there, e already thinned it out, and now it is smooth

Hoping I can have a bottom surgery date for next year, I want this off of me.
