Digitising skills be a given but as long as it has a high quality audio jack you can do it through that.

Recording onto cassette is different though because doesn't that need a specific writer head?

Proper grammar means shit all in English, unless you're worrying for a specific style, in which you follow the grammar rules for that style.

Standard English has such a long list of weird and contradictory roles with nonsensical exceptions, that in every day English, getting your point across in communication is better than trying to follow some more arbitrary rules.

Which become even more arbitrary as English becomes more and more a melting pot of multicultural idioms and slang. Although I'm saying that as if that's a new thing, but it does feel like a recent thing to be taught that side of English rather than just "The Queen's(/King's) English" as the style to strive for in writing and formal communication.

I say as long as someone can understand what you're saying, your English is correct. If it becomes vague due to mishandling of the classic rules of English, then maybe you need to follow them a bit. I don't have a specific science to this.

Stick buttons should always be toggles in my opinion. Fuck having to keep that pressed in while moving it around.

I think elevators are fixed height. You go underground once. Then when you're about to go back up again you end up going down instead. So now you're down 2 levels. But you never go back up 2 more elevators so the ground level when you get back up way lower than the ground at the start.

Take no heed. Americans only think politics extend as far as their two party system and think it's binary too.

(I know I'm generalising and not all Americans are as I described here)

I check Reddit like 5-10 minutes a week max and usually only if i land there via searches and just do a quick gloss over anything ive potentially missed. But compare that to the hours a week in habitually using lemmy (for better and/or worse i guess haha)

Oh shit, i totally am. Oops.

I made this because I started using Codium but wanted to use an extension that didn't have an OpenVSX equivalent and found out MS removed the VSIX download buttons on the marketplace site.

This should also work for Code-OSS and the MS VS Code. You can also just use it to only download the VSIX files so you can keep them locally for future use or take them to another computer that does not have internet connection for whatever reason to install there.

It will also check for dependencies and download them if you don't already have them installed.

At the moment it only downloads the latest versions of an extension.

Sharing because I imagine I'm not the only one with this issue.

Basically anything goes.

What should a new player learn or do really on to get the most out of the game. I just started today. I've had brief moments with the game on the past when I was younger but never enough to say I actually know the game.

I did a similar charity skate challenge last year with a goal of 50km with me finishing at 80km. This year my overtime goal is 150km if I get enough good weather to push myself beyond the 100km.

Millington's Magical Barn are a lovely vegan ran animal sanctuary that currently look after around 90 animals that were victims of neglect, abuse or were headed towards slaughter. At Millington's they wil be looked after for the lenght of their long natural life. They even look after a few disabled animals too.

Please donate if you believe in this cause, as well as motivating me to push myself further fitness wise!

I long for the days of yore, but I never really got into MMOs until WOW and I've always been jealous heating the stories of people playing MMOs prior.

At some point in the future I'm going to be making an XP era PC build where I plan to play some older games from my childhood as well and any MMOs from that era that I missed out on

Also going to try and get properly into FFXI at some point too but I'm wanting to hear other suggestions too.

I've tried everquest but the way they center the character in the 3rd person view starts to mess with my motion sickness a bit feeling like I have to look at the ground a lot more than I'd normally prefer.

Is there a way to have links to instances and communities in comments to actually open in jerboa rather than going to a browser?
