I see how it looks that way. I was referring to a specific hardware store chain that is local in my area. Some of the employees wear "stand for the flag" shirts with the company logo. While the flag itself isn't partisan the need to display it on a shirt certainly is.

And the market will bear it when idiots believe it's the minimum wage to blame and not the greedy executives. If they thought they were being ripped off they would quit spending money at the price gougers establishments. I've noticed prices go up the most at places that traditionally serve right wing customers. For example, a local hardware store in my area really raised prices and had sales they called "inflation busters". The whole thing is a joke.
Literally the only people who I hear say negative things about Torx / star bits are people who don't own a good Torx driver set. They don't strip easily (using the correct size) and they don't slip.
If you are having problems with all of the Linux posts then it's up to you to fix the problem. I'd suggest you buy an old Lenovo laptop and install Arch Linux and compile everything from source. That should solve this and a multitude of other problems in your life right now. 🙂
That's not entirely true. Social media now (and for a long while) shows people what they want to see. If you're right wing then it will show posts that reinforce those beliefs. Social media isn't picking sides, it's trying to maximize view time and if that requires distributing misinformation then so be it.
Fixed it
Android can be great. It's Google that's the problem.
Agreed. No Firefox means no monthly payment from me.
The problem isn't that they want to ban Tik Tok, it's that they completely ignore ever other questionable app. Let's make laws that address both data harvesting as well as platforms that use misinformation to manipulate large groups of people in exchange for money. We already know Facebook has been guilty of this but as an American company they can offer campaign donations to make politicians forget the problem. Sigh.
You could have monetized that but I guess hindsight is 20/20.
Evenings are the exact same length regardless of where you set your clock. Thinking DST gives you extra time is the same as someone who sets their clock fast so they have extra time to get ready for work. It just doesn't make sense to trick yourself. If you want a longer evening then talk to your employer about it.
