I turned off steam cloud and deleted my local saves, restarted game and made character, then reenabled cloud and told it to use my local when booting

Does this genocidal asshole really not want to fuck off into the sunset? He wants to be the proverbial cowboy clutching the reigns of an exhausted horse for 4 more years?

Really???

He's seriously not trying his absolute best not to throw this election to his bottom of the barrel competition?

10% of me believes he would be so pissed if he won reelection and have to do another tiktok video about the Superbowl

Yeah I feel that too. I will say most of the episodes follow a contiguous 15 minute period. When my kid asks me to play with him I do think of the show and make the decision to try and do w/e the hell he wants for 15 minutes.

Just to say that the endless energy and enthusiasm that Chili and Bandit display can be made from those "good moments" we get outside work, sleep, housework, chores, shopping, etc.

My only gripe with Bluey is that 70% of the episodes take place in their massive 10000 square foot mansion. I do worry it might set some unrealistic expectations when the kids watching get older. In other kid shows there is enough crazy shit going on to accept the setting isn't based in reality (like on a space ship or in mickey mouse hell world) but Bluey I'd equate more to like the simpsons, where you can start to forget that everyone is a dog.

Like seriously I'd like a scene where Bandit opens his $700 electric bill to keep that warehouse cool during the summer.

This makes sense when you realize the retort was also AI generated

I've concluded that the ruling class loves to lord over the possibility of removing this mild psychological torture, but leaves it in place because they really don't care.

My only hope currently is when they're old enough to start learning about the world from school, that I can help them get a fuller perspective on the topics.

This terrifies me. Even now my kid says stuff that I know he picked up from other kids and I have to calmly correct him without being a stick in the mud. I think some of my worst memories growing up were times when my parents harshly rejected something I wanted or expressed and I now know it came from a place of ignorance. Like I said I know I've made mistakes in that regard too but I want it to be as rare as possible. I shared plenty of things I learned in school with my parents and I don't remember any pushback, so I know I can break that cycle at least. In their defense they didn't have the internet.

I just try to remind myself that no one in history was born under the clearest skies, no one was born at the right time, or in the right place, and yet they persisted. If they could struggle through their times of troubles, I at least have to try to struggle through ours.

I know it's simple but I think I really needed this. Thank you. I want to be able to tell my kids that we're doing our best and I want to do it without lying to him. Struggling sucks, but its how make life better for our children and their children.

meow-hug I hope you both can talk to each other about this kind of stuff. I want to give my kids as much happiness as I can, and teach them they can always make a difference in that future, even if its small.

They should press the communism button. It's possible it's been turned on and someone forgot to turn it off.
