https://breakingthenews.net/Article/ISM:-US-manufacturing-activity-declines-in-March/63837825

The manufacturing activity in the United States returned to contraction in March, with the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) going from February's 50.3% to 49%, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) said in its report published on Tuesday.

Month-on-month, the New Orders Index fell from 48.6% to 45.2%. The Production Index decreased by 2.4 percentage points to 48.3%. The Employment Index plunged by 2.9 percentage points to 44.7%. On the other hand, the Prices Index soared by seven percentage points to 69.4%.

"Demand and production retreated and destaffing continued, as panelists’ companies responded to demand confusion. Prices growth accelerated due to tariffs, causing new order placement backlogs, supplier delivery slowdowns and manufacturing inventory growth," ISM Manufacturing Business Survey Committee Chair Timothy R. Fiore commented.

So much for all the bragging the American government did last month: https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/2025/03/manufacturing-is-roaring-back-under-president-donald-j-trump/

“In one month under President Trump, the American economy is soaring back to greatness after the economic calamity left by Joe Biden. The manufacturing industry is already rebounding as there were 9,000 new auto jobs created — the most auto jobs added in 15 months! Under President Trump, the private sector is leading the way — 93% of the job gains in February were in the private sector. This is great news for American workers and families. The Trump Administration will continue to work hard to implement pro-growth policies and push Congress to enact the Trump Economic Agenda.” — Karoline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary

Today’s jobs report shows American manufacturing is on the rebound thanks to President Donald J. Trump and his administration.

lol @ Citizens United

The Court ultimately held in this case that the anti corruption interest is not sufficient to displace the speech in question from Citizens United and that "independent expenditures, including those made by corporations, do not give rise to corruption or the appearance of corruption."

Wildfires continue to burn Thursday, March 27, in Western North Carolina, leading to thousands of acres of charred land and concerns of safety.

March 27 also marks six months since Tropical Storm Helene slammed WNC, creating devastation that residents and businesses still are dealing with.

Do not ask for whom the wildfires roll, they burn for thee.

Washington — President Trump announced the signing of an executive order that would begin the process of dismantling the Department of Education "once and for all."

[Mr. Trump] added, "We're not doing well with the world of education in this country, and we haven't for a long time."

No, Mr. President, no we are not.

President Trump said on Monday that he could cut aid to Jordan and Egypt if they refused his demand to permanently take in most Palestinians from Gaza, substantially increasing the pressure on key allies in the region to back his audacious proposal to relocate the entire population of the territory in order to redevelop it.

The president also said from the White House that if Hamas did not release all the remaining Israeli hostages by “12 o’clock on Saturday,” the cease-fire agreement with Israel should be canceled.

“All hell is going to break out,” Mr. Trump said to reporters in the Oval Office, while acknowledging that the choice over ending the cease-fire ultimately fell to Israel.

Kinda wild that the Americans elected this guy all by themselves and he's going to just destroy their own country over the next four years and no one else has to lift a finger - and they love him for it.. Like who would have guessed when Survivor aired in 2000 that a reality TV star would eventually unravel the whole place. It just blows my mind to watch this in real time.

With the country now two-and-a-half weeks into President Donald Trump’s second term, an average of national polls shows him with an approval rating just under 50%.

The polling average at FiveThirtyEight.com shows the president with a 48.8% approval rating

Honestly the funniest thing is how much Americans are loving the unraveling of their own country
