Don't download it just to try! It has trackers be careful. Is better not to ever download it really.

Wow apparently that Alvin was built by General Mills! (Electronic division.) Like the cereal company. Also it say:
In an emergency, if Alvin were stuck underwater with occupants inside, the outer body, or cladding, of the submersible could be released and discarded using controls inside the hull. The titanium sphere would then rise to the surface uncontrolled.
That's a good idea. I wonder if they just are not allowed to go on the alvin no matter how much they pay, and thats why they chose other option?
This is a good point. Because even websites which replaced others, oftentimes the older one is still there. Like even Digg still alive after Reddit got more popular. Some people say Tumblr's dead but its really not especially for specific interests like games. The success of you isnt based on the failure of someone else, and its important to remember and not become cross because reddit still has users. Especially its been only like 10 days and a lot have already gone onto other sites.
Now that i read it: i saw some ppl here wonder about bots posting comments or maybe downvoting, bc of apparently a lot of comments being against the protest suddenly more than before? And more downvotes on comments about it? If really bots are being used for this, will that also contribute to the traffic metric like a normal user would?
But that said im not sure if theyre bots, but i did see some people mentioned that they thought there's some false accounts speaking on Reddit's side.
Im commenting before reading: I wonder if traffic'll go up a lot from r/place tomorrow. I dont plan to participate know some ppl even who are staying away from Reddit plan to participate in r/place to put a protest message. But what I wondered if Reddit trying to ensure the mothly activity for June look the same as other months so the dip was not so noticeable. But how much does activity usually increase when r/place happened before? (If at all)
But ik also some ppl said theyre leaving Reddit June 30th, so maybe itll look different then.
I dont even think is just like that bc someone made a post about the response from users of the piracy subreddit to the blackout, and those there also were saying things like, that those who left are mod boots lickers. I don't know if it's so much ab your interests, bc there are people who care and people who dont in probably every group. Probably bc a lot of people against what spez is doing already left, so the ones left are mostly those who support spez or apathetic *tho not all of them
Not everyone tho i wasnt using Reddit bc im trying to avoid giving it traffic. Some ppl also just left like deleted their account even just before the blackout
I started not to like when people who have some kind of authority constantly try be all silly and goofy and "meme-y". It never seem to go well when theyre like that, they often ended up being really immature or have big ego/hubris, and causing harm because of it. So bc of that im not amused by this tho im sure they think this would amuse us 'commoners' and that theyre 'totally fitting in.' As much as I dont think is necessary for anyone to have that much money, in a world where billionaires do exist id rather they be decent or at least mature and not hear about them constantly, than to hear about them constantly because theyre immature and always trying for attention.
I dont wanna give them traffic so i just trying to avoid going at all on reddit
Thats a big one i think. Iirc people would use an extension (or maybe a 3rd party app?) to block those users that commonly repost things and for a period of time i saw people saying their feed changed a lot on Reddit just from that. Tho Idk if thatd change much lately bc a lot of reposts I saw before coming here were from new account that were bots tryna build karma :/
This is kinda random but till know i always saw "camaraderie" which i guess is more of a French influence spelling, but TIL comradery also an allowed way to spell it! Also ya I agree w you PLUS there seems to be less bots than Reddit atm
Ya but how easy would it be to get people to actually move there. Even tho on Reddit theres a rule against duplicate subs there were ways around that (like "real___" or "___uncensored") but the problem was that some ppl just didnt care about poor conduct and the replacement subs sometime ended up not taking off or being overrun by an extreme group (tho sometime it did work.) So I wonder about that here bc a lot of ppl use that to say this isnt a problem here
