I didnt know that was true. Some famous people ive seen called really attractive dont have perfectly symmetrical faces. In fact for some of them its not too hard to notice the asymmetry but theyre still really attractive.. i think the amount that symmetry comes into play might not be as high as other stuff like the shape/size of features, if at all. but ya.

Also for the hair thing i think is just bc some hairstyles look cuter than others depending on the person. Not necessarily middle part for everyone tho is not bad.

I dont, but i understand people expecting kbin or Lemmy to be replacements bc people have said that theyre replacements for Reddit and to move there. And tbh kbin is not bad (havent used Lemmy much)

I know this is off topic but i always found it weird that his wife was lit rally his teacher and married him? Like weird on the teacher's behalf not as much his. Is not just about the age gap bc i know a lot of ppl like someone older than them, even i do but just the fact she was his hs teacher? And married? And he was 15 when they met? Bruh

Why dont ppl just post a screenshot of a tweet instead of linking it, same with reddit posts ?

Afaik - feel free to correct me - this is charging companies for when they show ppl the news content on their platforms bc when that happens theres no reason for people to go on the news site, so they dont, and those companies just profitted (or at least prevented the news sites from profitting) off info that someone else wrote. Is like if u look up "lemon nutrition facts" and then all the info is just right there, sometimes you can see in the corner or bottom a link to the website that info came from but a lot of people wouldnt even go onto the site because Google already showed them the info. So thats why this was done i think ?? I think something like this was tried in Australia too and Google didnt like it then either. But idk if it went through.

I seen some people theorize that some of those power mods got paid (or is it payed? Idk which one the reddit bot used to say lol) by Reddit, specifically i saw some ppl say that about awkwardtheturtle, but am not sure if its true or just a conspiracy theory, or ppl tryna make sense of someone caping so hard for a company and antagonizing regular ppl for free lol.

So when they said they respect users right to protest what they actually meant was that they dont. got it.

So much of that, just trying to profit off people helping and communicating with others. Those should be free, or at least not exploited! I wonder how it was like back when the internet was new. I was not alive yet then, but i wonder if people then even thought about how much would be commercialized? Or were they hoping it will now just be an easy way to communicate with people all around the world, share info and stuff. Idk if most people knew that the desire to connect with others would be capitalized on like this. What was the internet made for in the start? I always heard to help more long distance communication, sharing and learning. But now is just turn into capitalisme highway. That it does not even matter about human connection, all that matters is something is produced to be consumed as cheaply as possible. Its sad.
