It doesn't matter. That will happen for both the stored hash and the entered password, so it still matches.

Yes. Current best practice is to use pass phrases. They can get long. Also, salt length is added to the password length as well, depending on implementation.

They can't not accept credit cards, so they will have to deal with them one way or the other. If only the US had a decent payment system instead of credit cards...

They took away my BaconReader and I refuse to use their horrible ad-laden web interface. So I switched during the Apicalype and never looked back

Eh, I'm 45 and anti-loitering bothers me as well. Also, anti-mosquito sound devices that some people put in their yards. And cheap USB wall warts.
