I assume that was simply a case of the yeast not tolerating the level of alcohol and having virtually nothing left to work with on the sugar.

Maybe try different baker yeast? I brew mead with baker yeast and it easily goes to 10%-12% ABV

I did my table with stairs finisher. It's even tougher than floor finisher. My 3 year old hasn't destroyed it... yet. According to my wife the only thing even tougher is professional grade boat finisher.

I recently picked up "Styx: Master of Darkness" in a Steam sale. It's really good! It's a stealth game where you can't fight your way out if you screw up. If you like the sneaking parts of Assassin's Creed, Thief or Dishonored then you'll love Styx.

Most distros have automated updates, or ask to update on power-off. Debian and all derivatives do. As for major updates, I do those for my tech illiterate family. It's not like they can do that themselves, but they wouldn't be able to upgrade Windows themselves either.

On the flip side, I'm older and have kids now. I love that I can game online a few times a week with friends, because I don't have time for old school weekend-long LAN parties.

Is it LAN parties you miss? Or being young and having more free time than responsibilities and common sense?

Also, I want LAN parties back.

Be the change you want to see. My office has a LAN party once a year. There's also consoles and board games for the non-gamers. The boss orders spare ribs for dinner and we do sone kind of fun pub quiz thing. It's a lot of fun.

Vivaldi is based on Chromium. When Google kills manifest v2 in a few months, Vivaldi will be forced to follow. They can't maintain a full fork. So, no more uBlock in Vivaldi.

No, Linux is also great for tech illiterate people who just need a browser and e-mail. It's only hard for people who think they know computers but really only know some Windows

Probably. But John Cleese riffing in Arnold could have been great!

It's not about the wall. That's just for shits and giggles (and clickbait). The real problem is that the Tesla also ran over a mannequin in rain and fog, while the Lexus with lidar did not.

Just ignore the current AAA games. There is an ocean of great AA, indy and older games. And plenty to be excited about.

Have you tried watching the entire video? The wall is just for shits and giggles. The parts where the Tesla runs over a mannequin in the fog and rain while the lidar Lexus does not is much more serious.
