Dollars and Euros and other currencies are not a limited resource, nor are they based off of any kind of limited resource.

They are limited by an authority which you can trust will not try to kill it off. So I kinda see it as more of a feature than a bug.

Also, dosent answer all the other arguments I just posted

It is a limited resource

Bad jokeYour Mom is too. Yet I'm still seeing her for free

(BTW, you're just wrong. If something being a limited resource that can be exchanged for services and goods means it is unstable, why aren't we seeing that with Euros? Dollars? HUF? insert currency here?

which can be exchanged for other things of value

...yet if we look at the triangle of investment, it neither has stability, nor has it got good liquidity, leaving only profitability. And since the job of a currency is being stable and liquidible, it fails at those completely.

I mean, just use winget. It actually works AND pulls directly from the dev website/github

Bad jokeDidn't we already have a bend phone, it was called the iPhone 6

Let me guess, its gonna be vision pro prices, a software support of near 0, and more hardware defects than the bend phones?

No requirements on replaceable batteries?

Its in there. At least for phones without a high enough waterproof rating

making the USB-C port easy to repair

As far as I know it should be in there too, or at least a „make significant parts replaceable”

Just about every mid range phone upwards meets these.

Theres an exception if the phone complies with IP Standards, so most likely nothing will happen

OK, but dont like half of all people usw Android and Windows?

If they were right we should be able to See the effects of the regulation, right? right?

Recap:

  1. No, AOSP is not going closed source. They are only releasing the Release builds now, not the dev builds. So he gets downvoted.
  2. He then dosent even get why he's been downvoted, goes into rant about AOSP apps being closed source? (No idea where he got that from)
  3. proceeds to go into most generic fucking explanation how Open source is against data collection, which, like, yeah? You could have summed that up in 5 words.
  4. For some reason now its a rant about eSims???

This is just something someone would generate with ChatGPT and add their own told you so text.

I hear it every time: But Muh Windows is better, because you dont have to install Drivers!!!11!11elf

And every time I have to force myself to tell them that its even Easier to install drivers on Linux, because you dont even need to know if you have an AMD or an Nvidia Card, you just open the Software and click on the recommended install

Im cirrently on Tier 2, I have not built the Space elevator yet, but I have really big problems with the assemblers

So, I currently have 2 iron Plants: 1 with a 120/min drill, going into 3 smelters, 2 of them producing iron Plates and 1 being split into iron rods and the iron cast screws

And now I built a second plant from right besides it with 180/min, going into 6 30/min smelters, however even the mk2 conveyor bottlenecks the smelters

However even this way I still only produce enough screws for the rotors, so I still need another 60/min for the reinforced plates

So since I dont have a third iron node by the next 300m my only options are basically to either turn the whole plant into a plate and rod plant each and get a third one from somewhere to get the screws, or I can just redirect the screws from the other plant and let the rotors lag behind

If anyone had other ideas, I would appreciate it

Also, as a bonus: How in Ficsits godforgiven name can I scale these assemblers? Like, If I need 2 Iron entire Pure grade iron plants to build even 1 assembler for each, and the mk2 smelters and stuff only unlock once I got to Tier 3 or 4 already, how can I realistically even finish the Space Elevator project?

As a part of my highschool graduation, I will be going to Berlin with my class from 7th to 11th of July, and I will have about 2-4 hours of free time a day

I have free access to public transport, a burner phone, a rainbow collar and 100€ I intend to spend on food and entertainment for 4 days.

Also, I'm 17, so no KitKat club, but everything from museums to restaurants, pride parades, anti Israel demos, or some good glory holes (or some good massage for someone here) will go.

Looking forward for your Suggestions :)

If you dont know, already knowing what to look for is a very big help in finding vulnerabilities. Its like handing an architect a build for a house and saying „There may be a problem, but there may be none.” vs saying „There is a problem in the 3rd floor, because last time it collapsed after having to hold over 200kg”. For one, you don't look into it too much, but for the other you already know where to look and what to look for.

Every time you look down, your FOV slider just goes from 90 to 50, until you make a 5 second long move trying to move the hair in a way it still looks good while not falling into your face again

Im currently trying to get my Keyboards software to work on linux, but since that won‘t be a thing, like ever, im trying to Reverse engineer the software in order to copy the get and set requests the Software sends over USB and send them over a Python Script using libUSB, so I can control it independent of OS

So I set up my Wireshark with a USB snooper and started using the software

Only problem: Since I have no idea how a Keyboard usually communicates, so I have no idea what to look for. Can someone recommend me some already reverse engeneered FOSS Keyboard software as an example? (Like the wooting software, if its even OSS)

iPad Air 5th gen with maxed out everything, cost me over 1000€ bc I needed it for school and plan to use it as work tablet.

Now it started when I installed iOS 16 a few years ago, the animation from swpining up the lock screen when the iPad was still locked was gone.

Then in 17 or 18 when the Control panel rework came, it sometimes froze up when switching the control panels. Now, some time later the whole thing started to crash when I just pulled it down and started bootlooping a few times. After that stopped after 10 Minutes its back to standard freezing for 10-20 secs

Now I would love to include logs, but Apple is allergic to them, so thats all I have to work with

Religion:

  • You have to Follow the only leader, you shall not have an Opinion, and you must convince everyone to have your opinion

Democracy:

  • Have your own opinion
  • Understand others arguments and find a compromise
  • No Leader

Now why the actual fuck are people still saying that religion is less than a threat to Democracy? Like, everyone who just even mentions that he got their opinion from the bible should get a lifelong unpaid vacation from Europe straight to Dubai.

If the posts are removed already: This is a fairly aggrovated response to the vent Mods apparantly having od‘d on Keta again and the AI slop running around here like the mods are probably while shitting their brain out

Lets begin then, post your finest unreflected heuli heuli in the comments about how toxic lemmy is and no one likes you

Yes, im doing le funy Meme. And yes, I am an autist, with some signs towards something adhd adjacent

I first tried Linux Mint when I was 12, eventually changed to Ubuntu when I was 13 or 14 because I saw the Windows 11 copilot button, installed arch at late 14, and got to gentoo when I was 15.

Can anyone beat me to it?

And somehow every single time the problem was so easy to solve, but apparently crying about it is the better solution.
