There is no reason to be weeks away from an atomic bomb unless you're interested in building a bomb. Tulsi was wrong about the timeline, but they were/are doing all the things a country interested in building a bomb would do.

Brother, you can't say "Iran and Russia have a defense pact" and then laugh and pivot to China after I point out Russia is not going to be able to make good on that pact. You haven't earned the right to be arrogant if you never mentioned China in your first comment. I wasn't talking about China. But now that your mention China.....

China is not currently interested in a proxy war to defend a middle eastern ally of convenience. They're gearing up to invade Taiwan. They will leave Iran to fend for itself, like how Russia let Syria collapse.

In all likelihood, Iran is gonna be forced to just take the L and do a bit of posturing.

Russia is incapable of coming to the aid of Iran at the moment.

I have never played Minecraft so I would not actually know, but yeah, everyone who has played both says it's better. Now if only we could get a Distant Horizons feature on this bad boy....

Others have discovered that Gamboa has carried his rifle at other "non-right" protests while dressed in a similar manner. They may be a case of the shooter being jumpy.

Vintage Story is an excellent game, worth checking out.

Me. Porn is fine. Teach your children how to handle it. Teach them that it's not realistic and some of it is straight-up dangerous. Put a filter on your internet if you're too scared to talk to your kids about uncomfortable topics.

Unironically, the provider of the chat bot should be liable for anything the chat bot says. Don't fire humans so youn can hide behind a neural network.

But this ain't suicide encouragement.

Are mortars rocket propelled? I thought they were just short indirect cannons.

Do you guys have any suggestions for how to remove fixed glass pieces? It's glued in place very securely, and I can't pry it out no matter what I do. Do you know if there's any solvents that would dissolve the glue but not harm the plastic? I want to refinish the glass to get rid of all the scratches.

My first ever patch is going to be a no-shoot target from competitive action shooting. I was going to do a shoot target but it turns out I don't have any tan thread in my random assortment of threads.

I will be getting a proper color selection soon, and proper thread, but for now I'm getting started with what I have. I'm very excited to make my fist patch!!

What are you working on?

Hi hi

I'm stuck in bed and starting to work on embroidery. All of my threads are wound on a spool. They seem to be general purpose threads as far as I can tell. Right now I'm folding them into four parallel threads and using that, doubled up. (Each stich is eight threads.) Some work better than others.

I'm slowly running out and will need to replace them, but I don't know anything about thread. The normal embroidery-specific threads don't seem to come on spools, which I would greatly prefer. They also have different sizes and I have no idea what's that about.

Basically:

Help! What is a good general purpose brand that comes on a spool? It doesn't have to be embroidery specific, but should be adaptable to use in embroidery.

Thanks!

A Madison local is looking to provide firearms instruction classes to students who might not feel safe taking a normal firearms course. The classes are free to the students to make them as accessible as possible. If you can help out with operating expenses (classroom rent, study materials, etc.) you will help build proficiency and safety in a community traditionally under served in this area.

Thanks!

Hi all,

A fellow enthusiast started teaching firearms courses aimed at folks who aren't typically courted by the gun community. They've been doing this for free since the start of COVID and they are now looking to expand their operation and need to raise funds in order to keep it free. If you could chip in a few bucks to help with next year's expenses, you'll be making firearms proficiency more accessible to people who aren't welcome in other courses currently available.

Thanks!
