I’ve got one too. It’s probably my third or fourth safety razor I’ve tried, and by far my favourite. I’ve got the aluminum one in blue. I got it as a gift, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have spent the money on it. Like you said, you can get good quality safety razors for far cheaper. But this one is definitely very good.

Canadian Brewhouse is pretty good. I’ve been a couple times, they have good deals on specific foods on certain days (wings on Wednesdays, tacos on Tuesdays, etc). They’ve got locations in Ontario, BC, Alberta, and Manitoba I believe.

Amazing. Yes, very much so! I like that

I have a list that I just started on my phone of Canadian products to put in an eventual master list post on this community. I’ll add that link to my note

Ooh I like that idea. Any thoughts on a good name for it? I’ll make the post later on this week and see how it goes

I didn’t notice that one. I might have to pick it up though, it sounds like it would be pretty good

That salty caramel crunch might be the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The cherry is good too but I don’t like chocolate in my cherry ice cream, so I’d personally prefer a regular black cherry. But I still enjoyed it. My wife also got a tub of another flavour, I think a chocolate one, but we haven’t opened that one yet.

It’s been a pretty pleasant community to moderate so far, which helps a lot. Turns out a community made of mostly Canadians talking positive about Canadian products leads to a nice and welcoming environment. Who would’ve thought?

One of the other mods is québécois so I have to contact them about translating anything I want to add to the sidebar since I want it to be fully bilingual. I’ll message them later on today about adding something requesting province-specific recommendations to indicate which province they’re available in

I like that idea, I’ll do it after work today

I’ve been shopping from these guys for years now. I have several belts, a couple wallets, a couple bags, a hat (unfortunately the hat isn’t made in Canada, just the leather emblem), and a bunch of smaller accessories. They aren’t cheap, but not crazy expensive either, and you definitely get what you pay for. They’re the only ones I buy from now. They also go on sale frequently too. They currently have a site-wide 25% sale, but they also sometimes have up to 40% off sales too.

Hey everyone.

I thought I’d make a post for anyone to comment on with suggestions they’d like to see in this community. Seeing as it’s starting to get quite a bit more active, and now that we have several mods, we should probably make it more professional looking, with a proper sidebar and maybe some other features you might have seen in another community that you liked.

If anyone has seen ideas they’d like to see here, feel free to suggest them in the comments on this post and myself and the other mods can possibly implement them. I’ll leave this post pinned so it’s easy to access, in case you read this and have an idea later on.

BuyCanadian was a fantastic subreddit but I couldn’t find anything with that name on this instance, I was just curious if there was a community about it on another instance
