I didn't have to wrack my brain to know it helps the lazy bums who don't know or don't want to do anything themselves.
While I'm out of the loop with the current state of affairs, in the early days there were plenty of comments from people who didn't know what WinRAR or even an archive was. Couldn't even install the most basic of mods without a video tutorial. Couldn't even ask for help properly. "Help! The dumb mods not working!!!"
It was as hilarious as it was tragic.
