Somehow convinced a person to run sudo chmod -x /usr/bin/*

I don't remember the exact command so it could be a bit different but it did the job. It was a fun evening.

Being forced to download the Reddit app onto my phone to view any 'NSFW' post, even though I'm on my desktop in c/[email protected]

For the moment you can replace the 'www' in the page link to 'old' and reload. the old ui doesn't show these annoying warnings. You can also try some libreddit instance.
