Every government is partially founded by taxes, are you suggesting we should avoid economical transactions with every citizen of a state you disapprove? Or is it just a Russian thing?

Thank you, this is what I was worrying about. As for the "why", even if my server is quite stable, a shutdown may be necessary and sometimes slowdowns with pi-hole happened. Some redundancy would have been better.

Non sono per nulla d'accordo e trovo anzi che la narrativa della "colpa del popolo scemo" sia un po' classista e che a seguirla si vada su terreni antidemocratici.
La classe politica e dirigente di questo paese (e non solo) è la stessa da decenni, e sono tutti in forti relazioni tra di loro, al di là delle campagne demagoge pre-elezioni. Semmai è da lì che viene la progressiva perdita di fiducia e interesse nel senso profondo della partecipazione politica, e nella sua riduzione a spettacolo per le masse.
Tra l'altro di gente intelligente che fa politica ne conosco parecchia, ma la realtà è che se non hai interessi (e soldi) in grandi quantità, non vai da nessuna parte.
Il problema non sono i votanti, sono i votabili. Non c'è una alternativa politica concreta e valida da decenni, non capisco cosa ci si possa aspettare dal voto sinceramente.
Poi, che ci sia un problema culturale diffuso, non lo nego, ma qui siamo di fronte ad un problema strutturale e sistemico del nostro sistema di governo e di come è stato distorto con facilità.

One thing is boycotting a company because you don't support how it operates or their moral position. Another thing is boycotting a company just for the sole fact that it's based in a country that makes political decision you disagree with. It's just geography, not a solid criteria for boycotting something IMHO.
