I recall reading on how they were able to make the map and was rather impressive. I love seeing how devs find some creative way to overcome a technical hurdle.

Pretty much any controller I put through the Tony Hawk test. THPS/THUG games I find require the most inputs and use of all but the analog sticks.

I find manualling the trickiest thing to do on the Site Deck Dpad. Not quite sure what it is but I think it has to do with how close my thumb is to my hand due to the pad being so close to the edge.

I do have a bit better luck playing THPS on an 8bitdo than the steam deck pad.

Fun tidbit: if you get the 8bitdo pro 2 controller, it has a switch on the back so you can alter it from Steam Deck (X) to a Windows PC (D) to Nintendo Switch (S) with the flick of a button. A universal remote

The downside to all of these I feel is altering historical accuracy. I would be fine with any changes in any board game as long as the rulebook mentions it like the Carnegie rulebook.

I forgot about Five Tribes, haven't had anyone ever mention it so I never came across the latest prtonong. I feel like Wil Wheaton's Tabletop episode in Five Tribes brought to light a lot of that stuff in board games.

Interesting. I have to look up the Turn to Ash card I think now

Didn't know about the Everdell add on, neat!

I don't mind any represantion in general in games and stories as long as it's relevant

Legacy of Dargonholt i think is a good example where it's revealed the couple you travel with is gay and hired you to escort them to a town to get married, good stuff!

Yet in another part of a diary it just throws in a comment "haven't they thought I would want to marry a woman?" And just skips to another topic, didn't feel like a natural journal entry.

I think the new Istanbul should release late 2023 for retailers I would like to see what kind of changes too

On a side note the ChubbyEmu video mentioned a man did just this out of government conspiracy or something like that

Just something about the concept of "Oklahoma gameplay" makes me chuckle.

Like Where in North Dakota is Carmen Sandiego (I am serious, that was a real game, despite how the box art looks like a Photoshop gag)

I think the chubbyemu video had the best summary where it simply says do not eat instead of something like contacting poison control or a more serious warning.

Another amusing thing is the old Jeff foxworthy line: you know why it says Do Not Eat? Because someone ate it. Imagine buying a camcorder, seeing a little pouch of marbles and thinking 'im gonna eat this'

The saddest part is since it didn't do spectacular nor did it blow away sales like Stranger Things or Critical Role did I imagine some scumbag executive will say movies like this aren't profitable and resort to some cookie cutter structure if there ever is a future reboot.

Best case scenario is it becomes cult status like Scott Pilgrim or something and becomes a long term return to prove it's worth.

I used to have Chris Cox's business card I wish I still had it to call and ask to keep Studio One (he is the new CEO)
