Ah, yes. William Adama. Good quote. Unfortunately the police do not have a duty to protect the people.

It's compared to the tea party for the same reason every scandal in politics is something-gate.

I mean, how else are we supposed to measure bridges?

I've heard enough of this stuff over the years to never be tempted to try the browser out. At this point, I feel like it's claim to privacy is mostly marketing. Personally, I'm going to stick to LibreWolf.

I haven't been keeping much of an eye on Ladybird, what happened with Andreas?

The problem is that I don't know how you'd get a third party off the ground. Modern third parties all seem to fall into the trap of going all in on a presidential at the expense of any potential down ballot races.

I think Bernie's suggestion of progressives running as independent is an interesting angle as it would be focused on down ballot races by its nature, and if you get enough independent progressives, they could coalesce into a new party down the line.

I believe that was referencing Picard Season 2, which this episode has a strong resemblance to.

The new trek shows are: Discovery Picard Lower Decks Prodigy Strange New Worlds

You're probably blanking on Lower Decks and Prodigy as they are the animated ones.
