Ya, this is quite annoying. Every other Lemmy app just releases the APK on GitHub.
It's obvious the Memmy developer is biased towards iOS, which is fine, but it really does feel like Android is an after thought, and in return, the app wont really be best on Android.
Which is okay, because we have a ton of amazing Android apps currently, with a ton more coming.
Boost for me.
Connect is awesome, but I am just so used to the UI and way Boost for Reddit works. When Boost for Lemmy is out, I will feel at home.
I also find that Jerboa and Connect are both great apps, but the features are fragmented across them (connect needs jumping between comments with volume keys!). Where Boost is the best of both worlds.
