I think your ALL feed would pick up stuff you have not specifically subscribed to, after you federate with one server, and you could then see new stuff that way.

I /think/, lol, ive not tested.

But it would get a lot of contenet if you federated with the larger sites.

https://lemmyverse.net/ has a big list of servers and communities to find servers to federate with.

Agreed. I try to up/down vote stuff that does not have that. News sites, my kid's friends, grocery websites, etc...

The Honor Harrington series is great for epic space opera.

The Bobiverse is really good too, though less... grandiose? It felt more personal to me.

The Well of Souls serie(s) are great.

For less opera and more funny the Phule books by Robert Aspirin are good.

Make sure to uncheck "show read posts" in your settings. That way stuff you've already seen/up voted/read will make way for new things

I second @Edo78@feddit.it ’s comment.

Local and All will show communities that you have not chosen, as well as ones you have chosen.

Set your default view to Subscribed and then only the ones you have chosen will show.

I have subs+active as my default mostly, and "show read posts" unchecked. So my feed is pretty lively with stuff I want to see.

You can add an issue on the GitHub page.

https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues

I don't think there is a community specifically for feature requests though.

Check if you have 'show read posts' unchecked. If that is unchecked ypur posts wont show. Since you made them, technically you have read them, lol

My wife does. Hers is super useful. She sees time/the calendar as kind of an oval floating in front of her vision. Makes it easy for her to keep track of sh*t all year long.

Also she can draw a word in the air and it glows if its spelled wrong. She won a lot of spelling bees in her youth, lol.

PeerTube as an alt for YouTube. Half the folks I follow on YouTube have a channel on tilvuds.com I've found, so it works for me.
