“Spirit of Cyrus,” which features Snoop Dogg on the hook, starts the album off. A fictional narrative, it takes the listener into the psyche of mass murder targeting who he feels are racist police officers. It was inspired by the real life story of former LAPD officer Christopher Dorner: In 2013, Dorner shot and killed four people — mostly police — and wounded three others. He ultimately took his own life after a shootout with authorities in San Bernardino. During the manhunt for Dorner, LL was warned by some of his friends in law enforcement not to leave the house because of the eerie resemblance between himself and Dorden. Police had instructions to shoot to kill Dorner.

I'm being torn apart at the intersection of "I want to believe" and "the United States is a notorious liar."

But that's not what they voted for!

Yeah, it's become a real problem, not just in online discussions but, for my own sanity. I did find a comment by me referencing it back in April 2022. So I'm reasonably sure i'm not hallucinating it.

Home Test to Treat is a program that offers free tests and free treatment (if eligible) for COVID-19 at home 24/7. No insurance or appointments needed!

COVID-19 medication, if medically indicated, delivered to your home or pharmacy

Free COVID-19 tests, if eligible, delivered directly to you

Is the Program Really Free? Yes, the program is free! The program is fully supported by the NIH RADx® Tech program and ASPR to help you stay healthy, no matter your situation.

Who is eligible? If you currently test positive for COVID-19, you can enroll to receive telehealth services for COVID-19, and treatment, if medically indicated, all at no cost to you.

If you are not currently positive for COVID-19, you may still enroll to receive free tests, telemedicine and treatment. At this time, enrollment is limited to uninsured and underinsured adults, as well as those on Medicare, Medicaid, and those in the Veteran Affairs healthcare system. Please note, this program is free and we will never bill nor contact any insurance program you may have.

You must be at least 18 years old to participate.

So this is a nationwide program that started up earlier this week, got so popular they had to shut down registrations and they've since opened it back up with a bit more restrictions on the eligibility. I'm still not entirely sure how much it all covers but there's free covid tests and possibly also prescriptions and telehealth visits involved.

Gives me cyberpunk vibes, but I think that's largely just being in a internet-dependent capitalist dystopia in which our government has abandoned us. this-is-fine

Part 2 finally dropped. Check the vid description if you're looking for projects to support that are still fighting this shit.

Sounds like this 911 thing went all the way to the top.

For you young'uns, this was pretty much the soundtrack to liberal anti-war spaces in the years following the US invasion of Iraq. Right up until Obama got elected and then they all forgot what war was.

lol, from The Soviet System of Government by John N. Hazard. The whole book is like this, it's quite impressive really. Like just complete and total denial of how western countries operate. I guess it was supposed to be a textbook? The book still has some interesting information that can be gleamed in between rolling your eyes. I would recommend downloading and reading if only for Chapter 12, Employment by the State. It was quite fascinating even with all the bias.
