Okay. So start smaller. What's the coolest aspect of the language? Or the part that you're most proud of?

If I was approaching something from a language-first style, I'd probably try to figure out what kind of cultural and geographic features would influence the language in it's current form. Just some mind vomit without giving hardly any thought to it:

  • language slow and sing songy could indicate a more leisure focused society, and that would mean either nearby natural resources, or a robust engineering that handles base needs
  • Or it could be a culture that tries to embrace peace and uses song and dance to put guests at ease
  • guttural or short language could be a battlng society, where info needs to be communicated efficiently
  • Or it could be a culture that uses spoken language as only part of their method of communication.

Just spitballing here. Hope there's a nugget of something in there.

Shoot, they might even have digital checkouts!

Ah, it sounds to me like you're wanting something kind of like the old Pimsleur German CDs. Looks like the current iteration is a subscription model with option to buy. I only remember the mp3s I downloaded years ago.

Oh jeez. Memories from this long ago are hazy at best. However, I grew up in a fundamentalist Christian household, and the kind of movies I could watch were limited. My dad was a truck driver, though, so he had a (definitely not gay maybe) love for Tom Selleck and/or mustaches. So the most graphic movies I saw were this one and Quigley Down Under. I can't remember, but this may have been my first sci fi movie ever.

I think I first read this book when I was a preteen. I went a slightly different route in my life (I live on a sailboat), but to this day I often remember the difficulties of capturing epically expansive landscapes with a camera that by its very nature introduces borders.

I've got fond memories of that movie.

I miss the Moto X. I've been known to nerdily use "prepare for voice command".

Freaking security audit for a home grown authorization service. No consistency.

This is true about the standard Wd-40 spray (WD = Water Displacement). However, the company did make 2 different actual chain lubes. One for wet, one for dry, and those work amazingly.

I forgot. Certainly unrelated.

Yup. The tracking stuff just makes it easier, but standard use of the phone sans tracking is still trackable.
