For those who have tried multiple apps, it would more helpful to others if you also mentioned WHY the certain app is your favorite. Is there some unique feature you really like or something else that sets it apart from all the others.
Personally I've only used Voyager. It seems to have everything I need but I cannot really call it my favorite as I haven't tried any others.
I never understood why exactly it's such a controversial topic. It's my third year on Mastodon, and I've never felt the service was lacking just because not having proper quote posts. But then, I also don't understand most of the arguments against them, especially when/if they're implemented as an opt-in for the original poster.
Basically, people on both sides seem angry over nothing, and I'm just like, 'Neat, a new feature. Anyway...'
You will be able to choose whether your posts can be quoted at all.
You will be notified when someone quotes you.
You will be able to withdraw your post from the quoted context at any time.
To me this sounds like the right way of doing it. Quote posts have always been kinda a hot topic on Mastodon. Some people want them while others absolutely do not. So best just let everyone to decide for themselves.
Yes, I thought I was the only one! I don't remember when or why I started doing it, but I'm so used to it by now that it feels weird if I don't turn the lights off.
Recently I got a new showerhead and it has a dim light built-in and uses the water flow for power. So no complete darkness anymore but the dim light doesn't bother me and it's actually useful.
Could be worse, at least it's not ad supported.
"Before we start, a quick word from today's sponsor, NordVPN..."
The FAA report said Boeing had calculated the probability of LRD activation as low enough to expect about one incident per year.
So it's okay that once a year there's a flight where the cockpit or the cabin fills up with possibly lethal smoke and fumes? Surely there's no way this could cause any issues. After all, a bulletin was issued that fixes everything...
Let's just hope some FAA personnel happens to be on board when this next happens.
Yeah, kinda sounds this was designed by someone who has never actually attended a LAN party
"Can I ask you a question?" is a funny one. They already did, so what they are actually asking is if they can ask you ANOTHER question.
The first game of the series is the best in my opinion. It went downhill from there.
