I finished yet another page from the Greenhouse of oddities, marking the right side of the greenhouse, filled with mostly nightshades, complete. The next page is the unfinished (stinky) flower in the middle. It's going to be a quick one as it has about 250 stitches left.

This is really sad and disgusting. It affects the whole platform but especially smaller instances that can't keep up. Despite being a lemm.ee user, I was particularly upset about thegarden.land shutting down because of that spam. It had my favourite gardening community on here.

I really hope this gets sorted out, and the spammers end up where they belong.

I asked because my Elizabeth turned out to be a boy so he ended up being Lizzie... And that stuck because he already learned his name and we didn't want to change it... 😅

I tried making homemade hemp milk and didn't strain it properly...the result was well... bitter! Especially after it sat for a day... Maybe it was because the seeds were ground up.

I'll definitely try it and see what happens.

Last time I was down with the Plague™, I was in bed, chugging jugs of thyme tea (helps a lot with wet cough), and taking ibuprofen/pseudoephedrine for the fever and stuffy nose. Also I watched the entire history of the Earth documentary series while sorting out my mystery embroidery floss. That helped a lot to keep me busy. Sleeping is good but I feel like I lose track of time and that triggers my depression. But I usually recommend it a lot to my patients.

My cat is also called Lizzie. Where did the name come from?

I like adding a tbsp spoon of peanut butter or peanut tahini, whatever I have lying around, and petmez (Turkish carob molasses for sweetness), otherwise it's similar to what I make in the morning. Also I use wholegrain rolled oats so I leave them overnight.

Do you think I can add hemp seeds in that case or will they make it bitter? Maybe add them before I start eating?

Welcome back! I hope the cruise went well. I really like how the whale turned out 🐳

Too frugal?

Never! I take pride in doing good work with what I have lying around instead of buying new and expensive stuff... Although I sometimes get lazy and hop to the store 😅

I mean...I was like that when we first adopted our cat. Then we learned about respecting personal space and whaddya know, I haven't been scratched in months (Last time was me trying to remove a small piece of thread from his mouth, to prevent him from eating it. He ate it anyway with no consequences and gave me a gash that left a scar.)

Why do I hear castlevania music in the background?

Some brands seem to make it crunchy. I just eat that like cereal with soy milk or yogurt. I made the mistake of buying cheap muesly from the local convenience store and it was exactly how you described it. It was the "let sit overnight" type. Except it had cornflakes in it that would get soggy and fall apart.

I forced myself to eat most of it, the rest went to my local murder of crows who picked at the dried fruit and cornflakes and left the oats to the pigeons to deal with. I guess I wasn't the only one who didn't like them.

As for the crunchiness, maybe try making it into granola in the oven? Not sure if that would work but it's worth a shot.
