Slider Quest - Plan Your Day and Watch it Play

So I recently found grindcraft again, and i found a website that would save my progress, but i want to make a clean install of windows on my pc. I already have some progress on the game, tho its a game thatt you really wouldnt necesaraly want to save your game progress on, i would like to do it. I play it on a website called grindcraft.fbrq.io/grindcraft/index.html, which shows up as "Funny Games" when i enter the website. How can i export my save? Thanks!

&

P.S. : i know that the flair shouldnt be tutorial but i dont see a "help" or "support" flair and the "None" flair tells me "Customization is disabled" or something like that

I've played quite a few but I can't think of most of the names. I LOVED Antimatter Dimensions. And a research one where you have different color vials (can't remember the name of it) But I've completely finished both of them.

I am so excited to finally be at this point. It took me 10 months and a full rebuild of the entire codebase but it's finally done, Incremental Factory, a factorio inspired incremental game, is releasing on Steam.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2449430/Incremental_Factory/

Compared to the web version this game is completely changed while retaining the core mechanics.

- New Buildings, Supply Chains & Progression Model

- Reworked entire UI/UX

- Added Node & Graph Based Factory

- Added Prestige Reset Mechanic with Skilltree, changing the dynamics of new playthroughs

- Removed Military & Trains to instead focus on the core loop first. But are already in development and will be added back again with further releases in the future

This was an insanely interesting journey and I put lots of love & energy into this game. Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey, this would have never been here if it wasnt for you!

I hope this will bring you joy and a good time & I am so looking forward to the future updates as this is really just the beginning :)

P.S. There is also a bundle with Plantera 2 available if you are looking for a good deal:

I'm researching the active aspects of idle games.

What is your favorite type of active gameplay in idle games(can be multiple)?

(By active I don't mean buying upgrades/spending currency)

  1. Constant interaction: like Idle Slayer - you need to constantly jump to slay enemies
  2. Low effort + scarce interactions: golden cookies that appears every X minutes to get big amount of currency
  3. High effort + scarce interactions: fill bar that gives you 1.5x or more progress for few minutes until you need to refill it again.
  4. Clicker interaction: like cookie clicker -> spam clicks/auto clicker to progress faster
  5. Something else that I missed, you can also give game examples

Thanks!

Hi everyone!

My name is Sphynxmods and today I'd like to come to you with some questions, but generally also to say hi, as I am hoping to create my very own Incremental Game!

I completed my last year of school just now and I've had some experience in Game Development (sort of) from the past few years. Technically I started modding World of Warcraft when I was 12, but those were almost always small adjustments or new/custom items.

After my time on World of Warcraft in 2016, I started on my journey for Black Ops 3 Mod tools, which I have created a, if I say so myself, 'pretty successful' mod which is being played by a large community.

Because of this community, the time spent on the mod and me ending school, I've decided to step up my game, and create a game I've always wanted to make!

I am fairly new to the genre but I've always wanted to create an Incremental Building Game and starting February I will be taking a full year to develop the game and hope to bring it out on Steam, at least that's the plan!

I have been studying UX/UI design in Amsterdam, so I have a good understanding of UI design and how this can be implemented to make sure the player gets a 'hopefully' amazing experience using the interface, I hope that this comes in handy and I will be able to tackle some of the issues I see within other Incremental Games {Like a generally oversaturated HUD/UI, and too many options, not concise and visible options and lack of information in some}

My Incremental Game:

I am still in the very early stage of writing everything down, but have decided on a name;

Settlements: A New Age!

The idea of this game is more focussed on resource management but allows the player to help the automation by clicking and gathering resources. You start off by always fully manually gathering resources for each new tech/resource you can get and slowly but steadily allow for it to be automated, with upgrades!

It's going to be a medieval kind of era, where you start off with gathering wood, stone and food and work your way up to stuff like Planks, Coal, Iron, Gems and more!

There are so many ideas but the biggest factor of the game is going to be using the marketplace to allow yourself to trade resources with one another and sell goods you make by combining resources and focussing on specific 'jobs'. {Gather Wood > Use Lumber Mill to gain Planks > Create Furniture > Sell for profit on the Marketplace} or {Gather Wood > Gather Iron Ore > Use Refinery to smelt Iron Ore into Iron Ingots > Create Iron Tool > Sell for Profit}

This allows the player to choose their own path and use different methods to build up your Settlement. The game let's the player choose what they want to focus on; Wood Production, Coal Mining, Tool making, Armor Making, Gem Cutting and so much more.

A lot of the game mechanics still have to be thoughout, which I am going to take a full month for to make sure it's all set in stone before I take the first steps into actually opening an editor and programming, but I believe that this could become a really engaging new Idle/Incremental game and hope you guys are interested!

Any feedback, any comments or suggestions let me know! I am eager to start working on this, and hope to have as much feedback and input of this Reddit and it's users to create the 'perfect' Idle/Incremental Game!

My questions:

- What are you generally looking for in an Incremental Game?

- What kind of stuff do you hate in these types of games?

- Are you interested in Settlements: A New Age?

- If this becomes a reality, what would you like to see? (Can be anything from general use, to personal ideas)

- If you have any questions for me, don't hesitate as I am ready to answer them all!

Much Love,

Sphynxmods

First time building a skill tree this large I hope it turns out well I need to adjust some graphics to show different stages of the skill (going to do dots at the bottom of the image instead of roman numerals as suggested.)

Skill points to spend will be how many viewers you have accumulated (ex. this skill requires you to have 20 viewers). Different skills provide boosts in production as well as augments to bit farmers at the bottoms of the screen. Such as turning them into wizards that can shoot lighting or summon meteors. For instance you can make your bit farmers summon meteors and continue the skill path to have them summon meteors more frequently, have them break apart or increase their size.

If you have any questions or advice please let me know.
